I am investigating my family history on my father's side. I am particularly interested in the Snider's and Long's of Montgomery County Virginia. I live in southeast Nebraska, and will do what I can to help if you have someone in this area.|

Thank you for the photo on Fred Johnson's memorial. I am confused about the stone, however. It says Fred V. Housf. What might be the relationship between Fred Housf and Fred Johnson - a name change?? What do you know about this? Thank you.

Dear Ken Snyder. I was in the same infantry squad as Ronnie in 1968 Vietnam. We were even in the same three man fire team. He was a real nice "down home" type guy, definitely one of the "Good Guys" in the U.S.Army. He was KIA only a couple weeks after I left the unit, and I was stunned to learn of it.
I thank you for taking the time and trouble to go find his grave likely in a distant cemetery from your home, and take these nice pictures which will remain on this website forever. This was very kind and generous of you to do so. Sincerely, John, Round Lake, IL.
