I've been researching my ancestors for more than 15 years and have made remarkable progress partly due to sites like Find A Grave and the people that so generously offer their time to help complete strangers. From my own experience I know it can sometimes take a lot of time to find the stones, especially the old ones and taking a good picture can be quite a challenge. So for those that dedicate their time to taking photos I greatly appreciate their effort. I enjoy hearing back from the people requesting photos. It makes it seem all the more worthwhile when I know I have helped them with a little piece of their puzzle.|
Most of the memorials I have created are not my ancestors so I'm more than happy to transfer memorial ownership if you have a connection. I try to add as much information as I can regarding their dates and places of birth and death but I do make mistakes. I'll gladly make corrections or add additional information so long as you have documentation to verify your request.
Anyone may use my photos for their own personal family genealogy. I would also be happy to email high resolution photos if they are your descendants. Photo credit would be appreciated.
I would also like to thank my wife for the many hours she has spent helping me find gravestones and do research.
Our descendants include some of the following:
Andrews, Dickerman, DeFlorio, Buchanan, O'Neil, Dodge, Medland, Herwig, Ringquist, Weckesser, Boyce, Adams, Minor (Miner) and Farr.

Hi Bill! Thanks for your contributions to the site for the Edgertons. I was wondering where the birth-date came from for Oliver Edgerton (my 5th great grandfather). I found the entire family in church records for a congregation there; though it states he was baptized in Jun 1765 (before the dob you have listed). Thanks!

|Laura Cleary||Thank you for the Monarch Hill Photos|
Hi Bill - thanks so much for the Monarch Hill photos (and for adding the other folks in the cemetery). I have done a lot of research on this family and still needed Joshua's stone to see if it had any confirming (or denying) information about his birth. I had tried in March of 2014 and got about 50 feet up the road and decided it was a really bad idea to try it with how deep the mud was. Thanks for all the help you have provided with this family and some of my other Vermonters! Laura
