I started researching my families a few years ago. Some old family pictures and my great-grandfather Jones' family Bible got me curious enough to start looking and asking questions about my family. Several years later I am still looking and asking. My primary family names of interest are Jones, Smithson, Cripps, Hathaway, Moser, Wood, Owen, & Elledge all at some time living in the Middle Tennessee area in Dekalb, Wilson, Cannon and Warren Counties. Find A Grave has become a great source for genealogy to me. I have made many new friends here and have met a lot of new cousins. I think we have gained a lot from each other in our family searches. I enjoy helping others and I hope the memorials I post somehow does help someone find a friend or relative, I know I have found many. Most of the time I will transfer any memorial as long as they are not in my direct family lines or closely connected to my family. Just ask and tell me how you are connected. The same applies to pictures. I find my pictures posted all over the internet, some make reference to the originator and some don't. I don't mind anyone using my pictures for personal use but it would be considerate to mention the person that made the effort to get out and make them. Although I am not a registered photo volunteer, I would be happy to try and locate and photograph headstones for anyone, just ask.|

|chucks mom||Thank you|
I would like to thank the ones that contribute to this site. Very few of Charlie Anns family members have been able to visit her resting place or seen her door. This will give them a chance to see what a lovely place I found for her.
This is a wonderful thing you are doing.
The work that you have done on the Smithson family is greatly appreciated. You have work hard & put in many hours and did a great job. Thank you for all your help!!

Thanks so much for posting the photo of Ray Thomas' stone. He is my husband's uncle. Also, I would like to thank you for setting up memorials for my GGG Grandparents George and Sarah Campbell Grizzle and his brother, Daniel at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery in Cannon County. I have put in requests to Find-A-Grave to link another of their sons,(George W.) to them and to have two additional children linked for Isaac and Elizabeth Jones Grizzle, also at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. Thanks again,LWM
|Lynette Womack Moore||Photo Request Milton Cemetery|
I just made a photo request for Ray Thomas Elrod #138486764 at Milton Cemetery when I realized that you are the person who had already posted a photo on his wife's site. Will you post the same photo on his site as well? And, can you add it thru answer of a photo request? Her site is #36762150, Velma Deaton Elrod. Thanks,LWM

Thank you so much for photographing and posting the photos to Aunt Faye's memorial. I am in the north-eastern part of Warren Co., so maybe I can return the favor, if you ever need a photo in my area. Thanks again.

Done! And happy 2015 to you. We haven't run across each other, or each other's memorials, recently, but I trust you're doing OK and keeping your camera in good working order? Have gotten to the point that, when the sun comes out, I start running in circles. Hope you're far better organized than that. Good to "see" you again.
