I have been interested in family history for many years. I think the Find A Grave website is a wonderful tool for researchers who might never get the chance to physically visit the graves of their ancestors. I will contribute to this project by submitting information on my family members and others. Feel free to contact me for any additions, corrections or transfers. I gladly transfer memorials to family unless they are my family too. Also, all headstone photos that I enter may be used for your personal family histories.|

Thank you very much for taking photos of many headstones in Hampton Cemetery. I have created many memorials for there the past several years but haven't had the chance to get all of the photos taken yet and I appreciate your help very much.

I take this opportunity to thank you Judi, for the information you provided on 'Find a grave stone'. My mother was Irene Dougal Spratt a great, grand daughter of James Spratt. Her grandfather, James Spratt born 1854, in Northumberland, England. He accompanied his parents to the USA only to return to marry Allison Dougal,in Eyemouth, Berwick, Scotland in 1876. Their son John Dougal Spratt was born at Belford, Northumberland in 1882. By 1889 the family were residing in Sunderland, Co Durham. John D Spratt was my grand father.

I want to thank you for responding to my request. This is amazing that it happened so quickly! I am ecstatic and thrilled. My mother passed away in March and she had so wanted to connect the Armstrong family and this was the missing link I was stumped on. I can't thank you enough for helping me complete this project.
Feeling extremely grateful in California.
