Bio and Links
Bio Photo Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide valuable information to a genealogist or comfort to a loved one.

Transfers - Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest any other correction" message including your "ID number", I'm more than happy to transfer memorials to their RELATIVES, as per FAG rules which are your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

If FAMILY MEMBERS wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

Some dates/names on the headstones are hard to read. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and input the changes. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of "Unknown" and incomplete memorials.

Volunteer contributors spend countless hours creating memorials after visiting cemeteries, photographing headstones and obtaining burial information. I am sure everyone would like to know their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.

FROM FAG RULES:
"Any contributor can upload an appropriate photo to any memorial regardless of who manages the page. No permission from the memorial manager is needed. However, if there is already a photo of the headstone, do not add a second similar photo unless the original is of poor quality and the new photo is dramatically better. "

Elizabeth Poulter Collis
Thank you for posting the obituary for Elizabeth Poulter Collis. While looking at the gravestone photo that is attached, it appears to me to be mixed up with the other Elizabeth Collis who was married to Obadiah J Collis. My relative...Elizabeth Poulter was in fact married to Stanley Collis. Would you please have a look and see if I am correct and the obituries switched? Thank you again for your help and time.

Please disregard the last message. I am having a hard time getting my edits and messages to process today and that was intended for another contributor. Thanks for your patience and all your contributions on this website. Best regards, Jan

Thanks for the photo and corrections. I will try to find the newspaper again but the headstone is probably the accurate date.

Bertie & Ernest Thirkettle (Union Cemetery)
I'm looking for my Dad's twin brothers birth & death dates. Also parents names would be helpful in varifying these two boys as my Dad's twin brothers who died before he was born.

RE: Lucy Elizabeth (Patterson) Edwards [
HI !

BIRTH CERTIFICATE SAYS LUCY ELIZABETH PATTERSON.
ELIZABETH IS HER LEGAL MIDDLE NAME NOT A NICKNAME.

CENSUSES & VOTERS LISTS SAY EITHER ELIZABETH OR
L. ELIZABETH AS YOU HAD ORIGINALLY.

PROBABLY BECAUSE HER MOTHERS' NAME WAS ALSO LUCY, SHE WAS CALLED ELIZABETH BY THE FAMILY.

HAVING SAID ALL THIS, IT IS VERY COMMON ON FIND A GRAVE TO MARK THE MIDDLE NAME IN THIS MANNER AS A USUALLY USED NAME.

MY TREE IS ON ANCESTRY IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A LOOK.

HOPE THAT HELPS.

MANY THANKS !!
