I'm a cemetery walker and a genealogy newbie. I've been interested in my own ancestry since my mother took me on cemetery walks as a little girl, pointing out this relative and that one, and instilling in me a passion for remembering and documenting the past and all those who shaped it. After visiting the F.A.G. website and taking several virtual strolls through the online cemetery I've come to realize that everyone deserves a remembrance. Whether they've come from humble beginnings and lived hard, frugal lives, or been blessed with comfort and wealth -- lived long storied lives, or short, seemingly insignificant lives -- everyone has a story. The people remembered on this website are woven into the fabric of our collective existence, they've created our pasts, molded our futures, and they're the backbones of our families. Each and every one has known and shown love, happiness, heartache, and pain, and their lives all had meaning and purpose. I will do my best to honor their memory, and am grateful to all of you who contribute and do your part to keep the memories alive.

You sent a lovely message,
My dad omitted me from his will,3 days prior to his dying. His wife and my sister will share. I guess it seems fitting since they divided his ashes)
My mom would be very upset at him and my sister.
I will never understand what I could have done. However I have memories, and you cant take those away.
