Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for several years. I recently found I became a member thinking I could have my ancestors resting places documented here where future generations of my family would have an easier time finding them then I. While searching FAG I contacted some very kind people that helped me with my research and inspired me to "pay it forward". I decided to be a volunteer photo taker to that end. If I can help just let me know.

Dear Ancestor

"Your tombstone stands among the rest; neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care; it is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist; you died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse; entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled so many years ago Spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you."

Stover, Henry B. fag 24392919
I am in the process of writing a Hankins History book and among the ancestors are a John Stover b 18 Aug 1818 Lawrence Co Ohio m Martha Hankins b 29 Feb 1824 Lawrence Co Ohio. John Stover father was John Stover and his father Samuel Stover.

I tracked John and Martha son William Henry Stover's wife to be buried in the Montgomery Cemetery Find A Grave 60244372 Martha E. Stover (maiden name Allire/Alyre) I am writing you to see how these two Stover lines could be related?

I have bible records of John Stover m Martha Hankins children as: Mary Elizabeth, John Rolen, Emily, Samuel, William Henry, Harriet, Laura Bell, and Henrietta.

Would like to hear from you. John Stover Sr. is buried in Lawrence Co Ohio died 1820. They came from Va. Can give you more on this linage.

Bear Butte Cemetery (Sturgis SD): Kelley Photo Requests
Just want to thank you for trying to locate the graves of James Kelley #122533644, Margaret Kelley #122533646, and their daughter Gloria Ann Kelley #722533643. Appreciate your time and will do more research to find out where the memorial owner found those locations...possibly they are unmarked graves. Hope you are having a wonderful summer...sure it HOT and HUMID down here in Oklahoma!!!!

Loren Thomas grave photo
Thank you!!!! Yes, this is Loren Thomas's gravestone. I have a photo, taken in the 1940s or 1950s of the stone - the lighting is terrible on mine, but everything else matches. Too bad the stone is in bad shape, though. Loren was an older brother to my grandmother. He and his twin brother Lloyd were born premature. Loren didn't survive, but Lloyd lived to be in his 70s. My great-grandparents didn't live in Rocky Ford very long and moved back to Gibbon, Nebraska soon after Loren died.

P.S. - several years ago I was told that this grave didn't exist and that there was no record of it. Thank you again!!
