Bio

For many years I've done photography and been interested over the past few years in history and the military... interests that continue to grow.

Living in the shadow of the Washington Monument has given me easy access to fuel all of these interests and more. I work with the local US Army Special Forces Association chapter and have been blessed and privileged to photograph the final honors at Arlington National Cemetery.

Despite ANC's huge area and complexity, it's an outstanding tribute to those who have served to protect and defend the United States of America and the freedoms that we enjoy.

ONE of two cemeteries under the care of the US Army, the missions that are carried out daily during the week are successfully completed by the Third Infantry Regiment, also known as "The Old Guard"

In October 2007, after several months of photographing the missions of the Presidential Salute Battery, I was made an "honorary" member of this elite unit.

A great friend of the US Army Golden Knights, US Army Marksmanship Unit

Take a look at my website and you'll see some interesting items and results of my labors.

JUN 2011 Marked another "FIRST"

My first book, which is THE first book about a historic US Army Post with origins during the US Civil War was published - "Images of America - Fort Myer" became a reality. It is right next to Arlington National Cemetery.

http://www.Historic-FortMyer.com is the website which complements the book.

On 04 MAY 2015 another milestone was reached when "Images of America - Fort Lesley J. Mcnair" was released.

http://www.Historic-FortMcNair.com is the website that complements the book.
