Billy Ward Payne
Hi.........while I was at it, I created a memorial for Billy Ward Payne. I found his birth certificate and added his parents and linked him to Hazel, Stewart, William and Aunt Nell.
Victoria sent me a nice photo and I added that too.

Hazel's dtr
Hi again........I just heard from Victoria and she's cleaning out her mom's stuff. It was so great to finally meet her and her brothers. It is a fine family. I was the only Poppin there to represent Hazel's Russian family. I stood up and gave some information and how many more cousins they have! I just wish I had known Hazel sooner and met her children. I love them deeply.

Lastly, I created a memorial for Charlotte. I did not find a cemetery for her, so created one without.

I just noticed her daughter died as a baby. I'll get one going for Danielle.

Hazel Payne and Nell Payne
Hi.........I figure you must be a relative of Hazel and Nell? Did I meet you at Hazel's memorial? Nell is my aunt (my father's sister) and Hazel is my 1st cousin.

Thank you for sponsoring their memorials.

RE: Partricks
I am aware of another pioneer cemetery on private land, near the Hess winery, where the Partricks are at rest. Jenelle (Jones)Partrick is buried at the Redwood Cemetery off Mt. Veeder Road.
I'm not sure how much history/photos to get into on this site.
Are you aware of the book "The Mount Veeder Resort, A History of Napa County Settlers" by Cecelia Elkington Setty? There are bits of Partrick and Moyer family history in it. Very interesting reading!

distant relative
I was led to this site by a distant cousin, Donald Moyer and the Partrick name hit a soft spot. Many of my ancestors are buried (Jones and Moyer) at Redwood Cemetery.
I believe Jasper Partrick had a son Elmer, who had one son Darel, whose mother was my great aunt Jennell Jones. I have pictures of the Partrick family, and of course, stories that my father Ray W. Moyer told and wrote down. Jennell(Jenelle) died when Darel was 8-9 y.o.and the story goes, that Elmer was in a terrible frame of mind to raise Darel...So Darel came to live with Rose Jones and Rollin Moyer c. 1923-1924 until Elmer was able to regain his parental role and Darel "was ready for high school." Rose and Rollin had one son, my father. Ray Wilbur Moyer and he often would visit Darel(candy store) in his later years whenever he got to Napa. Since my dad was an only child, he recalled with great joy the "brother" he had for a few years.

I've got a lot to add to this site, but my time is so limited with art commissions..www.narrative-threads.com Judith Rae Moyer-Shamp
