I am a White County, Georgia resident since 1994.|
I research my large family on a regular basis. Some of the names are: Bruce, of course; Bell; Davis; Childress; Vaught; Kirby; Sneed; Perkins; Hardeman, Hardiman; Hairston; Holsonback (we have found over 95 different ways to spell this name); Wisdom, of the John Henry Wisdom that saved Rome, , Floyd Co., Georgia from being destroyed (he is in the history books); Otwell, Ottwell, Ottawell, Hulsey, Halsey, Hulcy, King, Hicks, McKelvey, Campbell and many more.
Heritage: Robert the Bruce DNA proven; Charlemagne Kingdom from my Kirby and Hulsey lines.
Cherokee Indian and African American
Love, Love Horse's, Tennessee Walker's. The Bruce family have always liked racking horse's, so I was turned on to this breed by my Uncle Joe Hunt and my Aunt Pearl Bruce Hunt. Back then Uncle Joe would call them "Single Foot".
HEY::: WHEN TAKING GRAVE PHOTO'S FOR ME, PLEASE PLACE A FULL VIEW OF THE GRAVE ALSO...I REALLY LIKE THE ADDED ATTENTION, LIKE I AM THERE SITTING NEXT TO THEM AGAIN....
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Please be nice. We are all volunteers here and we are not perfect as of yet, all volunteers could use a little encouragement for all of their work supporting and contributing to this site. I have bump into some really Hateful folks on here, whom think they own this site, and do not follow FAG's rule's, however, the good folks here out weigh the mean ones so far...
My pics may be used for any not for profit genealogy sites. Just please give credit where credit is due.

I had sent you the memorial numbers and relationship to me, but it never showed in my edits that are waiting to be reviewed so I didn't know if you got it. Thank you for transferring them to me.

Thanks for info on Lillian Campbell Moss. I have it corrected and linked now.
I just wanted to let you know that Mary C Cantrell passed away January 16, 2014. When I wrote you before she was still living.
I wrote a message to Reuben letting him know that Coleman Cantrell, Boley Boston Cantrell, Harley B Cantrell and Douglas Quillion Cantrell are all brothers. Coleman is at Riverside Baptist, Harley and Boley are at Monroe Cemetary-White County and Douglas Quillion Cantrell is at Blue Creek. They are all sons of H.B. Cantrell and Rachael Cantrell that are both buried at Blue Creek Baptist church.
If you would like to transfer any of these memorials that you are over to me, I would be glad to take responsibility for them.
I am new,so I might have questions.

Hi Ronda! James Thompson Carter is my third great grandfather. I live in Fulton County, Georgia so I'm just a short distance from the
Morris-Turner Family Cemetery in Paulding County. Do you have directions to the cemetery? I've searched the web and cannot find any site with directions.
Thanks for all the wonderful work that you do!
Your distant relative,
Doleen Gregg Wilbur
All I have on the cemetery is this: "Rock Springs & Embry Chambers Road going down hill on right side at top of hill". It's in Alto, Banks Co. I don't live in the area so I know little about it. thank you for searching.

Birthday on stone shows 26th, you are asking to change to the 16th, so the stone is wrong? Just double checking. Thanks.
