In 2013 I photographed and uploaded all the headstones from Midland City Cemetery. I have some photos of stones that are illegible.|
If I have added your family member and you would like to manage their memorials please request a transfer. My goal is to reunite family members with their loved ones.

I just found the picture you posted of Dewey's grave marker, thank you very much for doing it.
Could you transfer Matthew Niederstadt to me please? He is my 2nd great grand uncle.

I will do what I can Rose. Note: Some of the Headstones I took in Section #1. Is hit & miss. The Sun was Hot Shade was covering over the Headstones. I might have to Redo Section 1 again. That Ground is so Uneven. Its very exhausting not sure! If I can manage it without some help. Will continue throw up the good ones I have. Perhaps this will generate more of these Midland Memorial Cemetery Burials get connected and draw in more Contributors.
Its hard on me... Staying on one Cemetery! :) My Connections & Tree is huge and many folks are contacting me. Not just on Genealogy. I also have done (our) Yearbooks Scanning for Gladwin County, MI too. Busy Busy!

Yesterday, I had a great first day of photographing in the Midland Memorial Gardens & Yes! If the conditions were perfect then No-problem.
However, their's several conditions facing me today...
Yesterday, weather was perfect. One only needed to watch his/her footing. Ground is very Soft & one could easily twist an Ankle. Going Side by Side to Photograph each Stone. All my Snapshots starting with Section #4. Will eventually most likely all be added on Find A Grave. I do skip a few... When I see possibly a Name shared with a Husband/Wife having died. Or to Much Leaves, Twigs/Dirt covering up Stone. Their's a lot of Trees being Cut right now in the Midland Memorial Gardens.
My Problem is: My age & having Progressive Rheumatiod Arthritis of Spine and Joints. Each time bending down to Brush off to get the Best Snapshots. Causes a lot of Pain. I do love what I can managed.
Today! when I was Photographing, Section 1. Day started out well. Though, Sun came out and put to-much Shade over Headstone. In attempt removing Shade from my Body casting on Headstone. I reversed. As you know! some turn-out just meant to be Read and not Shared. They aren't up to Perfect Ideal suiting for other's Find A Grave memorials. Though, are perfect offline. Giving more who should be Linked, or Missing Initial in Name or mispelling of name etc.
I will give you my Best! However, looks like several just have to keep Photographing. I do have the Ability to now see a lot of Names who are Buried in the Cemetery. Still needing to be Added. Section 1 & 4 now photographed by me... I will be Adding, sending Edits etc. :)
Thanks for the info on Clifton Gamet(#127418384). I see that he is actually buried at Midland Memorial Gardens by my grandparents in row 20.

Thanks Rose, I appreciate it. I understand about the weather. I live in Missouri and you never know what to expect.

Rose, first of all thanks so much for taking the photo of the tombstone for Jacob & Jennetta Apple. I'm always pleased to find tombstone pictures for my ancestors/relatives.
In reducing the pixels for the photo to fit on find-a-grave web site, it makes it impossible to read when printed off in a 5x7 format. I know this is not your fault, but the fault of the program.
Do you still have the original photo for this tombstone< If so, would you be willing to send it to me by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org?
Again my thanks.
Thank you so much for the transfer of Martha A Alger Card.
Very much appreciated.
