RE: Ray Nelson
Thank you SO much!
My maiden name was Graham. Raymond was in foster care when my cousin Linda (Graham) Nelson and her husband Bill took him in. They adopted him and raised him. He was killed in a car accident when he was 23 yrs old.
His adoptive parents...Bill (Willard) and Linda Nelson have the headstone/bench right next to his headstone. Bill is still living, but Linda passed away also.
I live about 45 minutes away from Floral Gardens Cemetery. Not far, but far enough away that I only get there a few times a year. My father's brother (my uncle Bill Graham and his wife, Elva) are buried there also.
That cemetery can be VERY hot, depending on which section you are searching for names in.
I must say though, their staff is VERY helpful in finding people buried there! They are a pleasure to talk with and the grounds are always well kept!
Best wishes on finding the person you were looking for!

Ray Nelson
How did you happen to take his picture? Did you know Raymond? Are you related?

RE: Raymond Nelson
I don't understand how my photo of his marker got so small, but I removed it and re-entered it and it's large enough to read again.
Thank you for asking regarding your photo...I appreciate you asking (Otherwise I wouldn't have known that mine somehow 'shrunk?!')
I have taken several photos that my shadow shows up in. It's frustrating! I even took one recently that showed my husband sitting in a lawn chair reading in the background. (That's what he does while I take photos.) Now THAT was embarrassing! I cropped him right out!
I don't mind if you want to leave your photo also...the more people who visit...the more he's remembered.

I linked Edna to her parents. No, I am not related to this family. If you would like a transfer, please request using the edit tab.

RE: Marriage
Patti, thank you very much for letting me know that I do have the right Etta Evans. I would appreciate a photo of Etta's grave if you don't mind. I don't need one of Luke and his 2nd wife. I had emailed my cousin earlier this year but he did not respond so I did not know what to think. I have a rough idea of his age and thought maybe he had passed. Thank you for letting me know he is still alive.

PS: I am having problems with internet today so sorry in advance if this is sent twice.
