William Finlay
I would appreciate a copy of the grave William Finlay (1841-1844). He is a brother to one of my paternal great grandmothers, Mary Finley Sturr.
My Find A Grave # is 4756948.
Thank you,

I'm wondering if you would give me permission to use the headstone photos you took for Alice Brower Dozeman # 25809019 and Ralph Dozeman # 25809028 -- with appropriate credit, of course. I'd like to add them to their records in Thank you for your consideration.

Susie A Case Find A Grave Memorial# 115250092

Susie A Case Find A Grave Memorial# 115250092. Would you mind a transfer of ownership involving Susan Case? She is a great Aunt, and with her transfer, I would add extensive information to memorial and link many family members?

Thank you,

RE: Elkhart, Indiana photo
The gal who originally posted the memorials transferred them to me, since I had forwarded her an obit. I do not know actually where they are buried, since I live in Michigan, and have never been to either cemetery.

What about if you delete both pictures of the gravestones...and I'll request a photo again, and we'll see who comes up with one and in what cemetery? I would guess that the same stone is not in 2 cemeteries, and that is the way it stands at this point.

I can try to get ahold of a sexton, but at the moment I'm working 7 days a week, and don't have 9-5 hours available to do phone research. But when I get the time, I will try to make some phone calls, if in the meantime, I have not learned anything new.

Hi! It's the photo that has your name of these DARK people...not the memorial. The gal transfered the memorials to me, and I am a little uncomfortable with this as I don't have first-hand knowledge of them being anywhere, since I didn't originally post them. I just want to know where they are truly buried.

Maybe the answer is to remove both photos and I'll request them again...unless you are close enough and want to double check where you found them. Let me know what you chose to do...and thank you for checking your records for this mystery!

Here are the memorial numbers for Fred Dark and his wife, Elsie (Elder) Dark...these are the ones I was referring to where you have the same stone in 2 different cemeteries. Thanks for checking on this.

Elkhart, Indiana photo
Cemetery P.I.:

You have posted a photo of Fred Dark's gravestone in North Union Cemetery in Elkhart County, Indiana and also the same photo for his wife, Elsie (Elder) Dark in Osceola Cemetery in Elkhart County. Obviously there must be some error here as I'm sure the same stone is not in 2 separate cemeteries. Would you by chance know which cemetery the stone is actually placed? Thank you for your help.
