Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was introduced to Geneology in 1980. I've been addicted ever since.

The TOMBSTONE and LOT pictures I have placed are yours to use for other geneological purposes to include other sites. Let me know if you would like me to go take better ones or if you want to place yours, is fine.

This site is not called "Find-a-Document".
Documents take up what limited space there is for photographs of the PERSON, HOUSE, or tombstone and GRAVE AREA. Please respect the memorials I manage and resist posting copied paperwork or certificates to where the photographs belong.

If you have some corrections, requests, links, additional info., ect., PLEASE use "EDIT" tabs located on upper right side of each memorial for all these things, not this Bio. page or my Email.

I like to place different kinds of flowers, flags, & things on memorials. BRIGHT RED FLOWERS indicate my family, relatives and V.I.P.'s. I won't usually transfer the memorials with RED FLOWERS unless you are a closer relation than myself AND I see you are an experienced, active and dedicated Find-a-Grave member. Thank you for your time and any help or corrections you can send!!!! !

My family -back 3 generations: DEAN, WARREN, BUMPUS, CASTERLINE, STREBY, SHANNON, WARNER, SMITH, ROWE, TOWNSEND, BUCKMASTER, WEBB, MILLS, STINEMETZ.

Ed Whiteman
Re Whiteman family burials at Mound View Cem.
Hello Todd. The Mount Vernon cemetery records are wrong for several of the burials. Sarah E. Whiteman, died 1862, was the sister of Robert W. (Wilbur Fisk) Whiteman,(1847-1931), grave 3. Sarah's father was the Rev. Henry Whiteman (III), 1811-1890, and buried in grave 1. Sarah's mother Jane (Johnson) Whiteman, is buried in grave 2.Augusta M.(Minerva) Whiteman was also the daughter of the Rev. Henry Whiteman (III)and sister to Robert. Henry Whiteman, grave 6, died Oct. 1853, was the Rev. Henry Whiteman Jr.,(1789-1853). I do not know if this matters to you, but both LDS Family Search and Ancestry.com's records indicate that the two Rev. Henrys are descended from North America's 1st Italian immigrant, Pietro Alburtus. Their records also indicate that the Rev. Henrys are descended from several Mayflower families. While on a mission for the Methodist Church, the Rev. Henry Jr., 1789-1853), was killed at New London, Ohio by a train. His burial was swiftly done. His wife, Elizabeth Clark Whiteman, (1781-1848), is buried at Mount Holly in Warren County. Thank you for all the hard work that you have accomplished, Ed Whiteman.

RE: Mary Jane Thuma Stephens
No luck finding an obituary for her although her death certificate indicates that she was buried in Fredericktown. I'll keep looking. Thanks for your help.

Lee Irvin and Irene Bell (Wolford) Hoover
Todd: I have a photo on my cell phone of Lee Irvin Hoover and Irene Bell (Wolford) Hoover, my grandparents...both buried in the Bellville, Ohio Cemetary.
How can I upload them to this site?
And, as an aside, my grandmother died on Sept.23, 1928, at the age of 34.
My grandfather died on Sept. 23, 1929, one year to the day later...on HIS 35th birthday!!!
They left 7 young children: Wava, Melvin, Flossie, Alva (my father), Orland, Mary, and Clara.

ARTHUR MOREY
Todd:

I just transferred Arthur Morey to you. I'm not very good with typing or doing the cut and paste thing. It is OK to keep him. I appreciate the work that you do. Have a nice Christmas Holiday.

Traci's Mom
Token you left for Traci Fields

Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.

I had set a goal of 5,000 flowers/tokens for Traci by her birthday on November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and many other findagravers, Traci has received 6,198 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and me extremely happy.

I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.

Linda Lou Birkhimer
RE: Charles Birkhimer
Thank you for all your help. I have discovered some new info about Roxanna Birkhimer. She married a Lambert after her husband William had died. Divorced him, and married a George E. Jones in 1929. And lived in Springfield, OH. She died in 1931. I'm still looking for her grave site. George was buried next to his first wife. Thanks . Linda

RE: Photos
Lol. It's an addiction Todd. I'm thinking I maybe have 20 good years left? Gotta get out there and get these people recorded before the stones are gone- or I am. So many people that need remembering. I appreciate your work and friendship as well. Happy Thanksgiving!
