RE: George Beck
Yes, George Riley Beck was married to Clara Bell Ackley, she was his 1st wife, mother of my maternal- grandfather, James Austin Beck. Her body was examined in Como,OH;perhaps she is buried within that area? No one I've spoken with has been able to locate her grave, I assume her infant daughter is buried there with her as she was also listed on the death roll, something like three to four weeks later. I'm not certain if the searchers have been looking for her under her maiden name or her married name of Beck. I know the family had a cabin near the Pee-Pee Creek. Any information would be welcome.

Karen (Berry) Myers Please reply to my email. Thank you.

Joseph Guest, Green Lawn, Columbus
I am sorry, but I do not have any further information about Joseph Guest. Since you have indicated that you do, I have transferred maintenance to your account so that you may make updates.

On the memorial, there is a button marked "Request A Photo;" if you click it, your request will go out to dozens of Find A Grave photo volunteers. Due to the difficulty of locating a grave among 250,000, many unmarked, among 54 acres, your request at Green Lawn stands a much higher chance of being quickly fulfilled if you first contact the cemetery, and record the Section, Lot and grave numbers in the "Plot" field of the memorial record before you make your photo request.

Welcome to Find A Grave, and I am gratified that your search for Joseph's resting place was successful.

RE: George Herschel Turner
Shirley,

I found the obit and have posted it on his memorial in Elk Cemetery. The obit was in the McArthur Democrat Enquirer April 24, 1952. I got it from the Herbert Wescoat Library in McArthur, Ohio. Hope this is what you want. Robin Fife

RE: Banbury family
I wish I did. I haven't been able to get down there and take pictures. She was my Great Aunt. I'm hoping in the spring or summer of 2011.
