To request a memorial to be transferred to you, the only way is to go to the "Edit" tab in the upper right of the memorial, go to "Suggest Any Other Correction or Addition" - put in your relationship to the memorial, and your memorial #. It must be done through the "edit" tab only, to insure that the correct memorial is transferred to the correct contributor. And I COULD transfer if it is apart of your family - not your cousins brother in law's aunt's cousin. Only if a close relative - which must be given in the "edit" tab.|
PLEASE to not post birth or marriage certificates or obituaries NOR put in the flower tab any information about the deceased. Send me in the "edit" tab to put this in the "Bio" section. I do not link to parents who are in a burial that are not known.
Thank you for all that have contributed to the memorials which are in my charge. And thanks to the ones that take pictures for me.
I will not transfer if they are apart of my own family or friends. Some of the lines I am researching are Masters, Chamblee, Keith, Kay, Hoffman, Veitch, Harding, Randolph, Isham, Totherow, Whitworth, Cartright, Murray, Magnusson, Bird, Stapley, Bliss, Pomeroy, Cunningham, Roth, Harding, Quinlan, Burrows, Stumpf and Hannum.
Because of the passing of contributor's Kathy McConnell and ancestorsatrest, I have been given a good portion of their memorials to take care of.
Elaine Berger has transferred the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery memorials for me to take care of.

I see that memorials for Holy Family Cemetery in Cahokia, Ill were added by you. I visited church while visiting area but they have no records and very few headstones. I'm interested in an Angelique Maneger death Dec 28, 1811 & an Amez Manegre death Dec 26, 1812. Where did you attain information? I would appreciate anything you may have. Thanks

Really appreciate all your hard work .. I have spent many days on searching for Carrie... she's my friends - great aunt - and a mystery for sure. She appears with her family on the 1880 Brazos County, Texas census ---- her mother Sarah Jane Belcher and father Jasper Palasiah Stallings... Carrie's siblings are John Elridge, James Buckley and Maggie Laura Stallings.
Her middle name may be Boyd ... although Maggie Laura named her eldest daughter Voyd (found that on 2 census') - so perhaps Carrie was Voyd not Boyd Stallings.
She may have been married once of twice - - the surnames Stanton, Rawleigh Vaughn come from my friend and her cousin, also searching for Carrie...so those names may or may not be a clue.? No explanation for any of them?? Already beat that bush well ... I chased after a Rawleigh Vaughn for most of a day ... and hit a brick wall.. (spelled these names all which ways)
Yes - this family is white...
One minor clue - apparently she pleaded with Maggie Laura not to marry (which she did in Lampasas County, Texas in 1893 - - so I would think that Carrie was alive in 1893??? And maybe had a bad marriage or two by then (just speculating)...
I went through the entire 1900 Texas census looking for Carrie or Caroline/Carolyn (just guessing that maybe Carrie was a nick name) and found nothing ... chased after several possibilities and all turned into deadends...

Thanks for your kindness in transferring Smith and Stallings memorial pages to my care . I have been ask by a good friend (Jacque) to work on her lineage. Once I feel I have found all I can, I'll be giving her all my research - as well as transferring all her ancestors to her loving care - in the mean time - - I will take great care of her ancestors.
(Since you have worked this area quite well - - we are searching desperately for the sister of Maggie Laura (Stallings) Smith ... She was born ca 1872 in Georgia and her name is Carrie Boyd Stallings .. we don't know her married names?? --- any help you can provide would be wonderful)

Thank you so much. I found Jack's website on the internet and that is where I first found that someone had the 2 sons "Newton" and "Robert" that were born in the late 1850's death prior to 1860...from memory they showed their death @1858.
Those 2 sons were on the 1860 census and therefore were not dead in 1858. I emailed Jack about this and never got a reply from him. There is no tombstone and all I was trying to find out was where the person that listed their deaths got the information. No one seems to know where that came from..

Sorry, that was my mistake I only meant to add his birthplace and correct his birth year. I've resubmitted my corrections.
