I am a Cornwell. My Cornwells came to VA in the 1600's and then immigrated through OH and on into IL. My dad and I have been researching the Cornwell family for well over 25 years. Rather than focus solely on my line, I have had an interest in all people with the Cornwell name--trying to link them all together.|
I also have a particular interest in the burials of Clark County, IL, where much of my family resides. Please send any additions and corrections to my memorials using the edit tab on the top right corner of the memorial page to make it easier for me to make the proper corrections.

|Anonymous||Re: Samuel Foreman request|
I received a note from findagrave "This is an automated email letting you know that your recent edit for the Samuel Foreman (____ - 1858) Find A Grave memorial has been declined.
General reason: Not accurate - Their data conflicts with my data."
My original request was for the tombstone inscription. And, I have noticed that you answered it to the best of your ability. Thank you! I just don't understand the reason findagrave gave: "Their data conflicts with my data."
Was this a random "good neighbor" listing, or are you related to Samuel Foreman?
We are trying to find the parents of: a John Foreman who married Nancy Ann Burton (who lived in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and died in Kansas.)

Memorial#40729900 in Highland Lawn Cemetery. James has a tombstone. It is under his father's surname HOGUE.
|richard jones||Joyce Catherine Cornwell|
just been searching through the rookwood cemetery records for the above. shows her age as 88 years, she passed on 29 august 2011 and was cremated on 2 september 2011.
There is no listing for any memorial, this usually means the family took the ashes away

Yes...Just wanted to let you know I revisted this area again today to try to fill old requests...many in this section are unmarked (including a great-grandmother on my tree)

My pleasure Cindy.

My 2nd great grandmother was Sarah Ann Boatwright. She married Elmer Dale Ferguson. She was the daughter of Granville Jasper Boatwright.
I know that a Sally Ann Boatwright married Nathaniel Harrison Bird.
|Robert E. Tapscott||George B. Nitchman|
The date of the Marshall Herald obituary cited for George B. Nitchman, buried in Ziegler Cemetery, is incorrect. The actual date is Fri 21 Mar 1924. George Nitchman died 15 Mar 1924, not Mar 1870. A digital copy of the original is published on the Marshall Library website with the 1924 date. Besides, the other people mentioned in the obituary were not living in 1870.

Hi- Thanks for your EDIT suggestion of nickname "Sandy". That is what I remember her being called in high school, but not sure that was her preference as an adult. Neither her marriage or obit in the paper referred to her as Sandy. Consequently, I don't wish to tag her with a nickname that she may have grown away from. Did you know her? Thanks again.
|Jodi Stewart||Emma Belle Pullum|
Hi there. I was wondering if you could tell me Emma Belle Pullum's maiden name. If it is WOODS, I've hit paydirt for researching my long-lost Woods family.
Thank you for any information you might have about her.
