Find a Grave has helped me greatly with my family research and I am now trying to help others with theirs. Memorials are meant to be shared so you do not need my permission to use photos I have taken for your own personal records. Please do not use my photos to create your own memorial for the same individual. If you would like a memorial transferred, please send me an email thru the edit feature as I rarely check messages left on my wall. If you want me to edit anything I will only do so if you click on the magic edit button. I try to be careful to not create dupes but sometimes its bound to happen so just let me know which memorial I created a duplicate of.
I do edit obituaries when I can to protect the names of those still living.
FAG protocol I claimed the max of 21 requests yesterday, 3/27, that apparently you had let lapse after the 14 days you had to fulfill. The fact that I was able to claim them means that they were "open". I just found that you had uploaded photos for Jos. Arguello on 3/27; Eliz. Case 3/28; Jesse Beckly 3/27. I stayed away from volunteering for 11 months and just started up again around March 1 because of exactly this type of not following the simple protocol that the web site has laid out. As someone who has been doing this for awhile, you should know how frustrating it is to find that after searching, taking photos, uploading them at home, you find that the photos are already there .... in spite of having claimed them according to those rules.
Marchant Claud and Nellie Smalley Hi, Thanks so much for the picture of Claud and Nellie Marchant. Since you have the picture are you related? I am related thru the Crocker part of the family. Can I download your picture to my tree? Thanks anyway for the picture just to see what they looked like. S. Donath
