photo for Francesco "Frank" Schepis memorial # 44417628

I am writing regarding the photo you graciously added to the memorial for Francesco "Frank" Schepis memorial # 44417628

Link to memorial:

I found out that the plot # I originally had on the memorial was not complete, so the location you went to for the grave is wrong. His ashes are actually interred in a crypt. Another contributor shared this information with me and also added a photo of it. I was please to find that his ashes are marked with his name.

I hope you will not feel me rude to ask you to remove the photo you added since it is the wrong location.

Thank you again for your contribution!

Photo added of gravestone
I believe I should thank you? (as indicated by 2009 update) photo of gravestone added to my great grandparents (Nonno/Nonni) Pietro & Luigia Gambertoglio. I have been attempting to research another "Gambertoglio" relative (not the other two of same last name listed with mine)- he would have been the son of Pietro & Luigia - who died rather young (early 20's +)after immigrating to U.S. in 1907. I was made aware of his existence on my mother's death bed as his life was never acknowledged due to some apparent criminal acts (?) whatever that was - he was disowned & never spoke of. I was never able to learn more. I have been curious for years as I found a key to this cemetery -only marked with a number but since removed by distant relative. I need to retrieve the voyage documents with the relatives name listings from a friend to locate his name. This vague information is rather odd, I realize, but I have wondered if the Italian Cemetery has an area where "indigents" and/or markers with a "number" only exist? Or are there records for "unmarked" graves from the mid 20th century? I live out of the area & unable to travel there but am curious if further research there could lead me to some history on this great uncle I never knew existed- in a family with few relatives, who made a choice I didn't appreciate by depriving me of my entire family history,as such it is. This is my maternal side & I know basically nothing about my paternal relatives as they chose to omit those relations also. Thanks again & for any info.regarding my inquiry on this subject. karen in lake county, california

Thank you so much!! I also like to put photos up when I find memorials that do not have them. I appreciate you taking the time to do this and give the birthdate! Love working with people like you who really care about having everything possible done for future generations!

Hi Sue, Ernie Forster is my uncle. It was during the Retaggio days that I requested a transfer and of course he didn't acknowledge my request. That is why there is a duplicate. SFLondon took a picture of a clean stone. The one I had was taken trying to dodge a lawn sprinkler!

I'm sure there are other dupes out there.

I'll request that Samantha to help me on this one as I already have the links to my grandmother.

Thank you.

RE: edits ready for your review it for both

Giovanni was possibly a fetal death.
Two records on the death index:
Chiesa, ZZ, died 3/19/1908 in Alameda County, CA
Chiesa, ZZ, died 9/5/1908 in San Francisco, CA

Do you know when he died?
