|Find A Grave is primarily a grave registry, but has proven to be an invaluable tool for those of us who are interested in genealogy. It is also a way to try and overcome all the misinformation on Ancestry.com. Most of the public trees on Ancestry are a mess.|
FAG rules do not command that you CAN'T transfer outside of guidelines; only that you are not REQUIRED to transfer outside of guidelines. It is at your own discretion to decide if you wish to transfer or not. The time and effort that each FAG contributor puts into creating memorials is greatly appreciated; however, family belongs with family. If you are not related to the deceased or never even knew them, why on earth would you want to deny a family member the privilege of maintaining their loved one's memorial? FAG contributors Corey & Douglas Marshall-Steele said it best: “The Golden Rule trumps the guidelines, and hoarding is just stingy and small."
Don’t even get me started on the self-appointed FAG police who trawl this site looking for the slightest reason to terrorize other FAG members. For Pete's sake, get a life!!!

|Alisa Morford||Children of Thomas and Naomi|
I have a record that indicates that there are five sons of Thomas and Naomi, many of whom you have listed as possible children. What records were used to reference possible names of other children? I would be interested in finding their families. Thank you!
Love your view on transfers. Just had someone who is non-related deny me a transfer (to a distant relative) and deny my edits even with sources. If I'm not related, I just transfer immediately, no questions asked! Barb

I was going to just delete mine, but then I saw the photo that Donny put on and did not want him to loose anything.
SO, loved your bio and figured that transferring mine to you you could do as you please with transferring data, etc.
Happy Holidays and Happy Researching, Bud.

|Tommie Moser Nichols||Mary E. Angel Johnson|
I, also, ditto your sentiments; and I thank you for having the courage to put words to paper!
I found another child of William F. and Sallie Nichols Angel through her DC. I was unable to locate her and her husband's graves.
She was "Mary E. Angel Johnson", born 4-7-1861 in Macon Co., NC, and passing 4-13-1952 in Franklin. The COD was myocarditis. The cemetery listed is "Franklin". Her husband, according to Ancestry was Ephrain Wilborn Johnson.
Thank you again! Tommie Nichols, Powell, TN
|Eli Chandler||Points well taken|
Hi Gloria, I just read your bio. and had to email you and the world to let you know your points are well taken and I could not agree with you more. If everybody acted like this on Find A Grave all of us would be much better off. Its people like you who are a privilege to know through Find A Grave. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely, Eli Chandler
|NCGenSeeker||RE: Doughty & Elizabeth Stockton|
You are very welcome for the transfers. Your husband is more closely related than I am.
Joseph and Elizabeth Doughty Stockton's daughter Elizabeth Stockton Nicholson, was my 6th Great Grandmother.
I live just south of you in North Carolina.
Thank you for the wonderful information! I have just began researching my family tree beginning with Charles T. Lowrey ( Great Grandfather - Mother's side).

Transferred. I have many memorials which need a loving home. Feel free to ask. It is my pleasure to make them available to those who care about them.
|Gail R. Anderson||Burney and VIolet|
Are they kin? Shall I transfer them to you?
|Gail R. Anderson||RE: Sam Jennings et al|
Transfers made. Thank you for giving them a good home!
