Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have visited and photographed many family graves over the past 30 years as part of my ongoing genealogical research. Some of the cemeteries that I have pictures of are Mount Auburn Illinois Cemetery; Grove City Cemetery; Stafford Cemetery; Hunter Cemetery; Oak Hill in Taylorville; Rochester Cemetery; Glenarm Cemetery in Ireland; Cedar Park Cemetery; Forest Home Cemetery; Mount Hope Cemetery; Chapel Hill Gardens; West Salem Trinity United Medthodist Church Cemetery and others.
Most recently, a distant cousin informed me that she also was photographing many of the same stones and posting them on this site. I am thrilled to combine efforts with Linda McCall! I hope to be able to add more of my photos soon.
I have also taken GPS readings for many of the sites.
I think that this is important work and that we need to preserve the memories for future generations.
Some of the names that I research are:
Montgomery, Henderson, Linn, Cole, Kimball, Whiteside, Aiken, McCambridge, and many others.
I maintain other genealogical sites and have about 4700 people in my various data bases and repositories.

Montgomery Family
I too am a descendant of John Montgomery. I have been to Stafford cemetery to visit his grave. Although I haven't been back for several years. I grew up in Springfield and lived for many years in Rochester. I noticed in your picture that it looked like someone had made some repairs to his stone. When we were there his wives stone was broken in half. Did it ever get repaired?
