RE: Lenoir Cantrell grave
Hey Wyn,

Yes, I remember you. I sent you Shiloh photos as I recall.
As far as linking the graves, I'm really not sure. I haven't gotten any of those notifications myself, so am not sure how I'd deal with it.
It seems odd they only give you a five-digit number since it seems most of the memorials/graves have an eight-digit number. But maybe some don't?

Wish I could be of better help. Is there anything in the "Help with Find A Grave" link or in the "Discussion Forums" about it?

Hi Linda,
They said they would go by that cemetery again, they must've overlooked it. If they don't see it, maybe I can persuade you to send me your picture when you have time.

I would be very happy if you can put me in touch with that person. It seems our family has lost touch with our Cantrell cousins. I am descended from Lenoir and his first wife, Mary, their son Devinell, and his daughter, Lura Idell Cantrell.

I have a picture of the congregation of Shiloh Church standing in front of the church in 1898 (some of my ancestors in the photo). Also Devinell brought a Civil War cannon ball with him when he moved to Oklahoma that he'd picked up around the church. It's here in Texas now... would be great to know more.

Anyway, if you can help, I'd appreciate it. Maybe they can help me identify some people in my Cantrell photos.
Thanks again!

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the response. I'm trying to clear up what happened with the person who went out to fill the photo request. I'm thinking they somehow missed it. (I almost gave up finding one once and when I finally came across it, I couldn't believe it, because it was a relatively big, elaborate grave!)

Are you a Cantrell descendant, then?

Thanks again,

Lenoir Cantrell grave
Can you verify (have a source) for me that this grave is in the Shiloh cemetery? I put out a photo request and someone went to look for it and could not find the grave (or marker) anywhere in the cemetery.
