Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery...
The following Sections opened for interments on the dates listed:
Section 6A, February 2012
Section 11, August 2012
Section 12, October 2012
Section 6B, November 2012
Section 14, June 2013
I'll upload grave-site photographs for these Sections (without the need for photo requests) as the grounds-keepers install marker stones and lay sod making the gravesites presentable. (This could be up to 6 months after interment.)
Thank you for your patience.

Biographical information belongs in the "bio" field or in other text fields on the MAIN memorial page.
Please do NOT post pictures of text to any of my memorial pages (Example: Do NOT post pictures of; obituaries, death notices, news paper articles, death certificates, remembrance cards, etc.).
Also, do NOT post biographical information in the Flowers section. This too, belongs in the appropriate text fields on the main page.
Forward the information using the "Edit" tab and appropriate link. I'll ensure it is added to the memorial page in a prompt and professional manner.
Do NOT post non-photograph graphics to the photo section (such as military emblems, membership emblems, flags, candles, etc). These types of graphics waste the 5 free "photo" slots provided by findagrave.com.
A family member should NOT have to sponsor a memorial page in order to upload a favorite picture simply because someone uploaded a non-photograph graphic or a picture of text to the photos.
Please respect my photographs, they are for your personal use only. Do NOT copy them to this or any other internet website; do NOT sell them, or otherwise attempt to profit from their use without written permission. (For example: Do NOT charge your relatives a handling or printing fee to obtain a copy of your family tree if it contains one of my photographs.)
In summary, do NOT take credit for any photograph that you did not physically take yourself.
I live in north-central Illinois, within 2 miles of the intersection of I-80 and I-55. I enjoy researching my family tree (9,000+ and growing).
My father's family is from Allegheny and Armstrong counties in western Pennsylvania. My mother's family is from Charles County, in southern Maryland.
We have limbs, branches, and roots that stretch across the United States. Most however, settled in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and California.
I enjoy taking cemetery, historical site, and other photographs. I am willing to assist with reasonable gravesite and non-gravesite photo requests; I will consider the unreasonable requests.
To borrow a line from Paladin's business card and the 1957-1962 TV series...

There are angels' among us!!! Thank you sooooooooo much for the transfer.
|Sherlocks Cousin||RE: Re: Lydia Cosumano|
Lydia and General Joe were stationed with us when Joe was a LT and then Captain, so we go back to 1970 with them. It's funny to call him General when we talk.
|Crystal Reems||My biological Family|
I am trying to find my biological family. My father James Wendell Mitchell is listed on your website. Do you have any information that you can provide me with about a family contact? Please help. Thank you.

Would you have any objections to transferring management of Robert B. Klemfuss to me? He is a relative.
Alternatively, if you so desire, I can send you the Find A Grave numbers for his parents and brother.

|MLT||RE: Re: Ricky Allen Smith change request|
Thank you for the reply! I didn't know just parents were linked to children, etc.
My aunt and uncle (Ricky's parents) were both cremated and not buried.
