I have been doing genealogy for over twenty years. I've been tracing Lawrence, Stanton, Cass/Cast, and Cooper's. I live in the Greenfield, Hancock, Indiana. Also a mother of 4 and grandmother of 4. Love my grand kids. Recently started as a volunteer photographer for my area. My daughter Debra and I enjoy doing this for genealogists.|

The headstone for Ambrose Bowen Cass is actually for his wife Melinda. Is there a headstone for Ambrose?
I am descended from:
James and Nancy
James Samuel Cass
Benjamin Epps Cass
Daniel Armstrong Cass
Jessie Epps Cass Scott
Rodger Hayes Scott
Peggy Scott Duty
I was thrilled to find this line of Cass in Illinois.

Thanks for the info about Wendell's parents. I confirmed it with the census and approved the edit.
Are you related to Wendell?

Thanks for your time and diligence toward improving George's memorial by linking his parents. It is much appreciated.
|Carol STEVENS||SARGENT, Snowden Berry|
I'm very curious about Snowden. I also have Berrys in my family tree and I see Snowden was born 4 years before Charles and Elizabeth BERRY married and perhaps Snowden BERRY was adopted by Charles SARGENT. (???) ... although Snowden is a very popular name in the Sargent family but not found in the Berry family, unless Charles Sargent also changed his first name when he adopted him.
What are your thoughts ?
Are you related ?

The Lebanon Public Library has a transcription of Oak Hill. I think they have a hard copy and a digital copy. A few back, a librarian uploaded about half of the file to Find a Grave. Just the first half, something like A through L. I have been going through Oak Hill for about eight years, photographing everything, starting with the oldest section first. I'm currently doing active sections. Maybe someday I'll find her parents. Maybe one of the librarians can look in the book for you.
