I created the Find A Grave website because I could not find an existing site that catered to my hobby of visiting the graves of famous people. Much to my surprise, I found that there were many thousands of folks from around the world that shared my interests. Seeing Find A Grave grow and grow beyond my wildest expectations has been one of the great joys of my life.
I was born in Alma, Michigan but spent most of my youth in Denver, Colorado. I attended Grinnell College in Iowa and earned a BA in music. I currently live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I enjoy playing and writing music, reading, table tennis, foosball and disc-golf (the macho sports). | |

 | Correction Hello,
In creating memorial pages forfamily members at FindAGrave, I came across on for my great-aunt Pauline Ann Lange that is incorrect for her father and could have additional information added for spouse and children. Can this memorial be assigned to me? I am not able to contact the person who created the memorial as they do not accept messages. The memorial in question is 44865611. Thanks | | | gobrenda3
 | hard to find Hello, Is there a way to program the names so that parts of a name come up without having to know the entire middle name?
for example, I put in Otto Peterson, Scappoose Oregon. I even knew the Fairview cemetery. Nothing came up. When I scrolled through 1400 names, there is was under Otto H H Peterson.
Whenever I search for anyone, it comes up that it doesnt exist, and I think it's because I don't know middle initials. I usually only know the county of where they could possibly be buried.
Thanks- and I do really love what you're doing, this is just something I noticed. Sincerely Brenda Fielding | | | gobrenda3

 | Inactive Contributor Jim, I have recently come across a contributor who has gone "inactive". This makes it impossible to make corrections to her Memorials. Her name is Bobbie Christian ( Sharon Methodist Church Cemetery Madison, Ms)I feel that she has created these memorials from lists that she has found online somewhere and has never visited the cemeteries. I would be willing to take over her Memorials and to straighten out the errors but I have not been able to get in touch with anyone having administrative authority to make this happen. Can you help or point me toward someone who can?
Thanks, George Bragg | | | George Bragg
