Bio and Links
Born: 1953

Husband: William Oscar Taylor Jr.

My husband and I were raised in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1972 due to my husband's job. We raised three children in Chatham County, Georgia and have six grand children.

I am researching all branches of my family tree and my husband's tree. There is quite a lot of branches to research primarily in Georgia. Some of the branches include:

Beard, Bazemore, Lariscy, Fries, Bragg, Counts, Edenfield, Taylor, Jenkins, Cuthbert

We often visit many of cemeteries in Screven County and surrounding counties. They are always a quite and peaceful places to visit.

When entering a memorial in Findagrave I try to include any information I can find. For some I have a picture of the headstone, a picture of the person, an obituary, information from birth and/or death certificates, etc.

You should remove the photo of the Funeral Home Marker. There is a permanent marker there/

Thank You

Mary Jane Mock
Hi Ms. Jessie,

Please link the parents of Mary Jane Mock as follows:

Lodowick E. Mock (father) Memorial#40083028
Margaret L. Mock (mother) Memorial#40083054

Please add her birthdate of February 15, 1846. I used a genealogy calculator where you plug in date of death, age at death in years, months, and days and it calculated Feb 15, 1846. Please add Screven County as both place of birth and death. The L.E. Mock family were life long residents of Screven County.

Thank You,
Danny Mock

Eliza Smoak Morris
Hi Jessie,

I just started researching and am stuck with Eliza and Richard Charles. Trying to locate their parents so far no luck. My Grandmother Lila Pearl Whitehead is still alive (just turn 91) she is the wife of Ernest Calvin Morris, who is the son of John Homer Morris and Bessie Lena Talor....there are a lot of lines to trace. If I find anything interesting (besides a Great Great Great great Uncle William John Smoak who died in 1882 and when he died there were 10 children, 104 grandchildren, 391 great grandchildren and 70 great great grandchildren living at the time - he was a busy man)I will let you know.

thank you

George Benjamin Bazemore, Jr.,
If Lula (Wells) Bazemore (your Find A Grave # 23734050) was born in 1881 then George Benjamin Bazemore, Jr., (your Find A Grave #23733654) could not be her son because he was born three years after her birth as per the Memorial tombstone pictures in Find A Grave for both individuals.
Please asvise. Thank you.
