Don't send transfer requests in Messages.

Don't send items to be edited on messages -- send them on SAC (send a correction) on the memorial.

I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable. I WILL NOT transfer entire families because you want a whole family in a certain cemetery. Direct family members would be within four generations such as great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Please send request for transfer through the correction tab it makes it easier to locate the memorial.

I will also make corrections to memorials of others as well, just send the information to me on the corrections form.

Wife of F. D. Lichty
Do you have any information of Dora Watts Lichty being buried in the Davenport Cemetery with her husband Filmore D. Lichty? Dora was born 4 Aug 1869 in Whitestown, Boone, Indiana and died 6 Feb 1922 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Daniel Hardin and Surrilda Roberts Watts and the sister of Cora Watts Ebbeka. I believe she was the mother of the infant Cora Lichty who was born and died in 1890. Could she be an unmarked grave on the lot with Daniel and Surrilda Watts? I know there is at least one and probably two, but I do not know who they are.
The following is her obituary:

Dora, daughter of Daniel Watts and wife was born at Whitestown, Indiana, Aug. 4 1869, from which place she moved with her parents in 1884, [The Daniel Watts family is in Nebraska in 1880 census, Richardson County] when she was fifteen years old, to Davenport, Nebraska, where she lived until she was married to Fillmore Lichty of Waterloo, Iowa, on Dec. 25, 1887.
Mrs. Lichty died at her home in South Omaha, Nebr., where she had lived for the past 21 years. She died Feb. 6, 1922 at the age of 52 years, 6 months and 2 days.
Mrs. Lichty united with the Christian church at Hebron several years ago, and tho she moved her membership from there, she continued a member of the church until she died.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Belle Heckman and one son, Floyd Lichty all of Omaha, Nebr., also four brothers, Charles Watts of Pomona, Kans., Sample Watts of Falls City, Nebr., W. H. Watts of Hebron, Nebr., and Squire Watts of Davenport, Nebr., besides many other relatives and friends.
The body was brought to Davenport for burial, and the funeral held Friday, Feb. 10, at the Church of Christ, conducted by B. Frank Lowery, and the body laid to rest in the family lot in the Davenport cemetery.

Thanks for any help you can give. Thank you also for all the work you have done on the Davenport Cemetery and those in surrounding towns. It has been a great help to me and I am sure others who were looking to find more information on their families.

RE: Pictures
I've deleted and then resent pictures for Albert & Lenora Pohlmeier. Hopefully, I did it correctly this time. I'll work on the others tomorrow. Let me know if there are any problems yet with the way I've corrected these 2 pictures.

Louisa Phillippi Berkey memorial duplicate
Sorry for any imposition. This was my G Grandmother's (Sarah Phillippi VanSickle) sister. I've found a great deal of information on Louisa Phillippi. I find her very interesting. Thank you for anything you've contributed online :)
I have deleted the duplicate memorial.

Carleton Cemetery
I am inquiring about records for the Cemetery. I am a Wright by birth and have been searching out my father's family. A number of them lived in the area and are buried in the cemetery. Are you still processing records for Carleton? IF I were to come visit the Cemetery, is there a contact source that could assist me in my search.

One example. Thomas Chase and Hattie Belle Miller Wright's son's are in the cemetery, those who died as infants, but Hattie and Thomas had a daughter born in 1895 (according to family records...which sometimes are not fully accurate) The name I have for the child was Evie Irene. She was about 4 months at her death...if the record is accurate.
(b 3 Oct 1895: d 17 Feb 1896).

Thank you for any assistance you could offer.

RE: Elizabeth Bender
You are most welcome. I also have my Stewart ancestors in this cemetery, not far from where Elizabeth Bender is. Would not surprise me if they knew each other back then.
