Find A Grave is in my top five "Things I Love To Do List". Especially in the Fall through Spring times of year.|
I am retired and spending lots of time on my family's ancestry. I joined Ancestry dot com and bought their Family Tree Maker 2011 and now a member of the Pecan Valley Genealogy Society.
My paternal ancestor surnames include Watson, Jones, Shelton, Wilburn, Howard, Arthur, Williams, Hamilton. My maternal ancestor surnames include Robbins, Horseman, Guthrie, Whitley, Mankins, See, Honaker, Dawson. Most of my ancestors are from the South, eg KY, VA, TN, SC, GA, AL, AR and migrated into my native Texas. I am residing in the heart of Texas, in Brown County.
If I manage a memorial I'm not related to I will gladly transfer it to an interested volunteer. My photographs on FAG may only be used on your personal family trees without my further permission. Thanks to all my friends and others who have helped me learn how to research and then to share on FAG. I'm still learning and still making mistakes, so if you see one of my errors please let me know and I'll surely make it right.

I don;t beleive either of them are marked. That would be a good prodject for someone to do.

It was called to my attention a while back that she was moved from Georges Creek to Richland and buried beside her mother.
Thanks for looking for his marker, my best guess is they could not afford to purchase one at the time. Probably an unmarked grave site. Thank again.

Hi, I am Cynthia Wells. V.E. Valentine was my great grandfather - thank you so much for posting this photo of his marker here. I have more information on him, for his obituary, if you need it. I am not sure how that works.
Thank you again.

Thank you so much for looking for this marker. 1925 it was iffy but had to try. I just found his DC this morning and had been looking for a while. Since you live in the area (I'm in Michigan) do you think there would be an obit in the newspaper? Or cemetery/funeral home records? Not sure when they began.
I love Find A Grave and try to put as much as I can on it. Keep up the great much needed work.
Thanks for your help..Robie firstname.lastname@example.org
