If your heart feels heavy,
It may be weighted down,
With the many precious gems
You fail to pass around.
Diamonds are the loving words
You always leave unsaid.
Rubies are the seeds of joy
That you refuse to spread.
Emerald are the helping hands
Only offered grudgingly.
Sapphires are alms not given
To ease a fellowman's need.
Changing won't be easy
And it may even smart.
When you begin to mine those gems
Embedded in your heart.
It will take a lot of practice
Each and every day,
Learning that neglected art
Of giving yourself away.
First there'll be a secret fear
You may be refused,
Or sometimes deep resentments
That you are being used.
But as you sow your precious gems
Along life's many miles,
You'll notice how they sparkle
In people's happy smiles.
And your heart that was so heavy
Will grow to twice its size,
But be as light as a bird in flight
As it soars up to the skies.

"Transfers: I am not one of
those people who refuse to
transfer in or out of guidelines.
State up front how and why you
feel you should be the manager
of the memorial. I will use
my discretion, but as a general
Ask and ye shall receive, unless
you're 1 of those people who don't
transfer out of guidelines".
(I borrowed this from T.V.F.T.H)
If you are one of those people
the above poem is for you,
please read it and take it to
heart. I also don't like
veiled threats. So please don't
do that. It is so ugly.
For transfer request, please go
to edit. It will make it
easier for both of us.
If you have sent a correction
addition etc. please be patient,
and give me thirty days, to take
care of your request.
I am going to remove my e-mail
address, as I continue to receive
thru there, rather than thru edit
as I have requested above. Please
be sure to include the memorial
number as it is time consuming to
for members to have to look it up,
when you could just as easily send it.
Please do not post a death certificate
or an obituary in the photo section
on any of the memorials I manage.
The obituary should be typed and
submitted to be entered in the bio.
We want the memorials of those we
loved to be as nice as possible.

Thanks for offering the death notice. A friend who helped with the bio had additional notices but we decided that we had enough information. Thanks, Ed

I am seaching for the husband of Nancy Duff. It appears to me she was the wife of James Duff b.1855 in Missouri. Although I cannot find any proof, I believe I am correct. If you have any suggestions as to where I might find proof, please let me know. Thank you for all the work you do for Find A Grave.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention that I had created a duplicate record. I make it a habit to check before entering...obviously, I over looked this one. I deleted the duplicate because it was an error on my part NOT BECAUSE of your threat. You might try a different approach!

After researching many books, the Springville cemetery name is correct. I saw one book that had Big Spring in parenthesis after the name Springville. I am going to try to contact the person who posted most of the names in Big Springs to see of they could do anything about the duplications.

Thanks for bringing the duplication to my attention. I added Matilda to Springville cemetery and someone else added her to Big Spring Cemetery. I have been doing some research and it appears that these two cemeteries are one in the same. I want to go to the library and research this a little further. If it is correct that these two cemeteries are the same, I wonder if they could combine them somehow.

I don't live near Pleasant View Cemetery but I will try to go out there again soon and get a better, clearer picture of Mary's grave for you.

Hi Janet, thank you, I don't know what is going on I had her maiden name and married name listed and she was connected to her parents. When I just checked her name had benn changed and she was NOT connected to her parents.I was very close to Lois and we were good friends. I have not been able to find out what happened to her ashes. Do you know who could have changed my information ? Will try to conect her to her parents again.
