William Ashley and Julia Pittsley
Hi Zach!

I'm wondering what you relationship is to William Ashley and Julia Pittsley? They are my 3rd great grandparents through their son, Collins Henry Ashley. Anyway, if you are not related, I would love to take over the management of their memorials. Also, William's father, George Ashley, has a memorial on here # 61618769, which you manage. I just thought it would be nice if they were linked. Julia's parents are memorial #'s 103426510 for Atwood and 28144314 for her mother, Nancy.

I just noticed that you have George's grandson, Richard Ashley linked as his son. He is actually the son of George W Jr. (B. 1845 D. 1888) and Azubah Collins.

Thank you for setting up these memorials!! I look forward to learning how we're related!

Autumn :)

Regarding the message from Nick White - are you a descendant of either Resolved or brother Peregine White?

RE: In regards to George Almy (Newtown Burial Ground)
Thank you very much. My Smith family patriarch, John Smith, purported was the first grave in 1692 at the Smith Family (Quaker) Burial Ground at Dartmouth, but I doubt that is true despite a son-in-law of a much later descendant erecting a memorial claiming it is so. In 1698 John's grandson Judah Smith was a pledged contributory to the erection of the 1st Apponegansett Meeting House and his line is likely interred there in the early to mid-1700s. Etc. Etc. Etc.

RE: In regards to George Almy (Newtown Burial Ground)
Thanks for the reply. This does help by mentioning how many people are said to be interred there.

May I ask for some additional help? Do you have Judy's book(s) in hand or is it something you had borrowed but returned to the local library? If still in hand, could you tell me how many persons are purportedly interred at the various identified Quaker burial grounds at Dartmouth? I am trying to determine the likely one(s) that members of my Quaker-based Dartmouth ancestors are probably interred at. Thanks.

RE: Kimball, Elizabeth, and Olive White
Hi Zach Im related along way back through the of Whites of England, from two different sources. 1) William (Mayflower) White and 2) The immagrant John White 1602-1673 who came to America from South Petherton, Somerset, England. I have lived in Wiltshire , England for most of my years before moving to where I live now in Scotland. Its good to hear from you and would be great to compare notes with you. regards,

Nick White.
