Find A Grave is one of my favorite web sites. I find wonderful things on it each day. |
I have worked on my family history for several decades and I appreciate all the many hours you have put in to assist people like me.
If I can be of assistance, let me know through my email address. Happy hunting.

|Nathan Haines||Glenn and Clara Hunter in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery|
You put in a request for pictures for Glenn and Clara Hunter's graves in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery here in Portland, OR.
I went and took pictures today. Guess what? Glenn's first wife Eva is buried right between him and his second wife Clara.
Could you do me a favor and add picture requests for Eva's grave too?
Eva's Find A Grave #= 100771160
I still have to process the pictures and get them ready to upload to Find A Grave. I might get that done today?

Today, I went to Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Gresham, took photos of the marker and area, and have uploaded them onto James' memorial page.
|Jan Fenter||James Monroe MELTON, 123531520|
I was doing a photo project at Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum in Portland, Oregon, and found James M. MELTON's crypt along side his wife Lissie M. Melton. I created a memorial page for him, 123531520, and his wife, 159489042, and uploaded the photos.
When doing research on James and Lissie, I saw you had created a memorial page for a James Monroe MELTON, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Gresham. I called Forest Lawn and they said the James Melton they had was James R. Melton, born April 14, 1944 and died Oct. 28, 2002. [Phone# 1 - 503 - 665 - 1197.] I went to the cemetery and found the marker for James R. Melton in GARDEN J, SECTION 76, LOT 3 SPACE 3.
I have sent you some edits that change the memorial page you did from James Monroe Melton to James Robert Melton. James Robert Melton's father was Clarence Alvey Melton. Clarence is at the Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum.

You're very welcome-it was my pleasure to be able to locate his stone, do some clean-up and then take the photos. Technically, Eternal Valley doesn't allow photography, but when it appears I am a relative doing maintenance on the stone, it is much easier to get the pictures. I waited until 4 p.m. so the sun wouldn't be so high and ruin the shots. I can email the entire group to you if you like. Just send me an email at Sonshine1949@yahoo.com and put Elmer Hayden in the subject line.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you as well!!!

Somehow I missed your reply when it came in last month and just discovered it now.
Thanks for taking the time to answer. Much appreciated!

There was no marker but a small brick next to Sally's headstone. Maybe his resting place?
Just wish I was more helpful.
