Bio Photo I am a quilter! I piece together fabric in the traditional way but also the people of past generations. Just as in making a conventional quilt, all must be pieced together with extreme accuracy, or the outcome will be disastrous. There are no shortcuts that can be taken. The beauty of the quilt can only be truly appreciated by the maker who has personally put their heart and soul into the construction and has had to take out the stitches of the piece that just will not fit.

The ones that have been posted to my memorials are all copyright material. Downloading and reposting any image from another website is copyright infringement. Also, be aware that in some states it is illegal to electronically post any vital records. It is punishable with a very hefty fine.

Do not ask me to post obituaries on my memorials unless they are out of copyright. Find A Grave rules state 1922 or earlier and in public domain. Spend your time writing a personal story about the individual.

It is so sad to see so many long time contributors becoming inactive. I totally understand how all of this constant edit stuff is driving them nuts.

I appreciate edits if I have made a typing error but constant requests to add copyright obituaries, or suggestions to add erroneous information (copied from some online tree), is overwhelming. I am on DIALUP service and it takes me hours just to sort through all of this. We are volunteers!

I would much rather have edits sent to me by e-mail with a source cited.

Photos are, and remain, the property of the contributor. No downloading and posting to other web sites! All of the photos submitted by me to Find A Grave, memorials and cemeteries, are copyrighted by me. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited. Written permission must be obtained for any use!

Upon my passing, the full size images and my copyright will be donated to the various genealogical and historical societies that I am a member of. These organizations will need to know to whom I have given permission to for personal use.

I am willing to transfer ownership of my memorials to family members using Find A Grave's standards. I will not transfer if they are my family or allied family members.

RE: Redoing entire cemetery
Hi Fawn it is in the Peck family section. Cre is for Cremation. The cre helps us with the count. We are trying to account for all burials.

RE: Redoing entire cemetery
Hi Fawn the very first map of the old section is litterally on a animal skin. So I have a copy, poor that it is, of that. And I am starting with those names and markers. We haven't located anything yet legally speaking of the old deeds. I am going through old records and notes, and anything. I can find. I am not changing anything, just marking who is buried where as best as I can from old revords. Then we will create a computer spreadsheet with everything I gave found. The clear will go through it one more time and scan all data. Hopefully we will come up with the most accurate records going further. Yes I know there are newer burials in the old section. Some people have sold or given their plus to others without documentation. So trying to record what is to what papers have recorded. If you have anything that might help sure would appreciate your imput.

I found it on when I was looking through clipping on family members. My laptop's plug in is no good or I would send you a copy of newspaper clipping I found on

Sorry about that,

James Isom Crockett
Hi Fawn,
I found clipping on my grandpa James Isom Crockett. I tried to see if you will add his clipping in his information.

Get hold of me if you want his clipping.

Thanks, Sunnie

RE: LeDuc/Le Duc

Many of the Le Duc markers have a very distinctive space between the E and the D; some do not, I take this literally as a difference in the way the name was spelled. If that name is on your family, I'd trust you to do with it as you believe it to be. We have the same issue with Le Mays, Le Tendre's etc. I have no skin in this game - just trying to get things right.
