Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in my family history for more than 20 years and I have gathered an enormous amount of information. The Find-A-Grave website has already proven to be an asset as I have been able to find more information on relatives. Surnames I am researching: Hart, Siefert, Drake, Jackson, Cederquist, Leuthold, Roth, Sparks, Pearce, Molander, Armagost, Miles, Walter, Busch.
Please feel free to copy any grave stone/marker photos I have posted if you need them for genealogical purposes.

Oliver Gilbert Chamberlain
Hi Jonathan! Long time since we connected. I have a favour to ask. Is it possible to check the cemetery and see if they have a death certificate for Oliver? We haven't found one yet nor where his wife Hephzibah is buried either. Still searching.
How are you doing on the Hart side? Hope you are well, Sharon

Hi Jon. I am working on the cemetery's history. I am reading the "Irvine Story" and adding info as I find it. Feel free to interject or contact me if necessary. I have been trying to work on these old cemeteries near my home. Trying to find and attach history before it is lost forever. Thank you for all your work and efforts. It does not go unnoticed.

RE: new family mystery
I can send a copy of the birth certificate if you need it. Thanks for helping.

I have my cousin Patrick Shirley (lives in Warren) asking the sisters if they have any old letters, cards or family bibles that might have info about Nellie Jean's birth.Patrick is one of Uncle Herman's children and I'm friends with him on FB.

new family mystery
Hello Jonathan, I hope your starting the new year off weell! Don't make any resolutions you know you won't keep. I gve up on resolutions.

I'm writing about a bit of a mystery in my family tree (the Shirley Parker one). I always thought that the youngest of my Grandfather's children born Nellie Jean Shirley (who was put up for adoption quite early).
I thought she was my Grandmother's daughter but today I received a copy of Nellie's birth certificate and it shows her mother's maiden name as Cora Porter. Grandma's name was Cora Ellen Parker and she's buried in the cemetary next to Uncle Freeman I think.

Now I'm trying to find out about this Cora Porter. Is she a second wife to Elmer E. Shirley? It says her maiden name is Porter but I can't find any marriage records. Nellie was born July 2, 1926 and whisked away to live in Panama as a baby. Elmer is listed as her father.

Are you up for this sort of challenge? I'm clear over here in WA and presently fighting COPD exerbated by Bronchitis. Typing is the best I can muster. I'll appreciate any info you can find.

I see you found my Grandfather Elmer's grave, probably close to my mother's grave but she's buried next to Myron Clark her husband of many years. If you can find them I'd love to have a picture.

Will await to hear from you. GrandmaSarge74@gmail.com (aka Corrine)
Thanks Jonathan
