I'm a fairly recent enthusiast of cemetery photography. I suspect becoming a site contributor and photo volunteer was inevitable.|
I live in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. My involvement in the Society for Creative Anachronism (the "SCA") means that I travel to other states - notably Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
When possible, I now "fit in" cemetery photography sessions while away from home.
Most of the memorials I have made are for people I am not related to. They've come about from picture-taking adventures and subsequently learning that no memorial existed. When appropriate, I add photographs to existing memorials.
A good number of the memorials I manage but did not make are my family. Some were created before I came along and were kindly transferred to me by other contributors who are not related to them. Others originated from the U.S. Veterans Affairs Office and were transferred to me by Find A Grave Administration.
A couple of memorials I now manage are of non-relatives for whom I suggested rather extensive editing based on information I had gathered ... and the non-relative originator chose to transfer management to me.
If you find that one of your relatives has a memorial made by me, I'll be happy to transfer management - WITHIN the 4-generation direct relationship guidelines as given in the Find A Grave FAQ. --->> Please do specify your exact relationship in the SAC! <<---
FAQ #162 states that the 4-generation direct relationships are as follow: "This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
Kindly DO NOT copy my photographs for use on other websites. Yes, I ***REALLY*** DO mean: DON'T post photographs that I have taken to Ancestry.com or to any other site.
Copyright for images posted to Find A Grave remains with the photographer, who in this case reserves the right to not permit further sharing on the Internet.

|Lyneva Mitchell Grauberger||The Brackett line|
Tangent, your great grandfather Daniel B. Brackett's father, William M. Brackett, was a brother to my great grandmother, Asinath Josephine "Jo" Brackett Westmoreland(Mem. # 8442478). Amazing what one finds when researching their family lines!

No he isn't a relative. You may not even believe me if I told you. Short version is my girl friend and I live in Georgia not far from where he is buried. 5 years ago I took her to the cemetery in Cobb county and...well to put it bluntly, we didn't go home alone. I mean no disrespect to him or to this page or anyone on here but I have been trying for the last 5 years to get some info on him that would help us to understand some things. One being why is he buried alone so far off from anyone else. His grave sits on that little hill with no one else around him. A lonely sad sight when you visit. We just both feel a connection to him (and before this I would have laughed if someone told me these things that I am saying now) and we visit him often.

Glad to hear that you found the pictures of your gg grandparents, that I had posted. They are also the gg grandparents of my wife. The pictures came from my wife's mother, William and Mary's great granddaughter.

Hi Tangent. My name is James Tatum and I was hoping someone might be able to tell me something about Wilbur Glenn Marchman. You have the only info on him and I was wondering if you could help me. Thanks.
|Betsy Jenkins||Thank you!|
I greatly appreciated all the work you have done and the maintenance you performed today for my family. These are my Mom's Uncles, Aunts, Grandparents, and Great-Grandparents. She knew many of them well and will be pleased. We also know that Nellie, with her playful sense of humor, would have made the best of the misspelling of her name on her marker.
|Betsy Jenkins||Please add parents to L.L. Tucker|
I have another request for you, when you have a chance. Please add as parents to L.L. Tucker, whose Find-A-Grave ID is 68609627:
McKendree Tucker 84510176, his father
Eliza Rakestraw Tucker 84510249, his mother
Thank you for all your hard work!
|Betsy Jenkins||Please add the Studdards as Nora Lee Tucker's parents|
Nora Lee's Find-a-Grave ID is 68609491. Her father is Joseph S. Studdard, with a Find-a-grave ID of 59218710. Her mother is Mary L. Day Studdard, with an ID of 59218766.
Nora Lee is my great-grandmother.
