|Bio and Links|
This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. Yes, I'm in it for the numbers! The more memorials that are on this site, the better chance of people finding relatives. That's what this is all about.|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for taking the time to take pictures of the gravesites and putting them on their memorial. I really appreciate it!

Hi B.J., Can't thank you enough for taking the time and energy to look into this. Odd that a record was created in Find-a-grave, if Green Hills says he's not. Looks like I have some sleuthing to do! Thanks again for the Plot photo!

Thank you so much for sending the photo of their graves. It is much appreciated.

Hi. Was Ola by any chance married to Durward Robinson?

Dear B. J.,
I have no other pictures of Cora Reed. I can check in a few months' time to see if my mother has other pictures of her.

I'm thinking the reason why a family member would want a transfer is so they could write something about that person or link them to other family members. Once a memorial is designaetd as famous, the family can still link to the page, but cannot edit the bio info. In these two particular cases, I see that you made the pages almost two years ago and they have been gone for quite some time, so do you really think that the family might want a transfer? For some of the wonderful buildings they designed in and around Los Angeles, I certainly think they deserve 'famous' recognition.

Dear B. J.,
I can fill in a lot of the gaps for you. However, I would rather tell you some things in private, so please send me an e-mail message when you can.
As for Claude, I believe that he ended up in an institution somewhere in California. I do not know the name of it or the location of it, I am sad to say.
She got married the first time to Richard Herbert Brink on August 30, 1944, in Rutland, Vermont, at the Congregational Church. You are correct in saying that she got married at the age of 17. I have a copy of their marriage record, and I will send it to you if you would like it.
She married Victor Oliva Cyr on March 3, 1951, in Springfield, Vermont. I have a copy of that marriage record, too.
As far as I know, she did not have much education. At one time she worked as a domestic servant, and she also worked as a waitress.
I am not sure how or why the moved to California. I think it must have been in the early 1960's.
I know a lot about her family history and would be happy to share it with you by e-mail. I also have some stories that I can tell you.

Dear B. J.,
Thank you so much for your interest in my family line. I am the grandson of Cora Reed.
I would be interested to find out how you are related.
