Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy on my family lineage for over 35 years. It started out as a hobby and quickly became a passion. My goal is to locate my grandmother's brother, John Joshua Barron who disappeared in 1926. Hopefully one day I'll discover what happened to him. Surnames I'm researching are: Slay, Hatley, Barron, Nicklas, Casburn, Ratliff, Jones and Randolph.

Phillis Slay
Thank you sooooo much for your hard work in photographing and uploading info you found. Phillis Slay is my 4G-Grandmother. I began researching the white SLAYS in the Scott County to hopefully find info on her and I did with your post!
Thanks again and Happy Genealogy!

Edna Moudy Memorial
Thanks for the information.

Gonna do more research on this one.

I know the cemetery is in Leake County. I rarely take pics in Attala County because the county has been so well documented.

I'll get in touch with Beth Austin and see what she knows about it.

If you have more information message me or send me an email.

Very confused on your request. The memorial photo shows him buried at CC#4 but the Find A Grave memorial has him at Palestine Church Cemetery. We did not see any indication of him buried at the Pallestine cemetery. Since the city has him buried at CC#4 do you want a photo from there? Please advise.

RE: Chester Cleo Slay, # 92472809
I'm only very distantly related to the Slay family.

I had previously added a note to his memorial regarding SSDI information for his last residence. I don't consider this proof of death place.

I'd be happy to add his obituary should you obtain a copy.

What evidence/proof do you have that he died in LaSalle Parish, LA?

Thank you,

Barron Family
Does your family have variations in their names. Mine does, it is supposed to be Barrow, however, some have Barron, Barren and some others. Mine were from Alabama, to Florida, and then to Georgia.

However, it also turns out the name was not any of those, but, my 3rd Grandfather whose name is Barefoot/Bearrowfoot. It has been a trial trying to prove any of it. But, when I was younger and up to a challenge it was exciting.

Thanks,

Winnette

W.F. Green Photo Request - Milltown Cemetery

Are you sure William F. Green is buried at Milltown Cemetery? I have been to the cemetery twice recently fulfilling other photo requests and have not found a marked grave for him. His wife Caradell Slay and an infant son are buried together in a wall enclosed lot. I have added photos of the lot on both of their memorial pages for you to view. If William is buried there it would seem logical that he would be buried with his wife and child. Please look into this and let me know.

Westview photo requests
Hello

I would like to help you find your photo request at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Westview is massive the largest cemetery in the whole Southeast. Would you please help me by calling the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out whether the grave is marked with a monument or marker or both AND what the section and lot numbers are.

Then I will gladly look.

The office is reluctant to give out that information to non-relatives.

Thanks

Phil
