Steve, I did contact the manager but he/she hasn't removed the erroneous memorial yet. You can still delete your photo request which will help with our goal of getting all the old cemeteries fully documented. Thanks, Kris

Hello! Checking photo requests for Ely Cemetery in Lyme; discovered that Elizabeth Ely is buried in Duck River Cemetery in Lyme, according to the Hale Index.

Thank you for the edit and the grave marker photo. I never met him in person but I had an interesting experience with him. Years ago I was a manager of a Chrysler Jeep dealership in Florida. We had a large inventory of Jeeps in stock but had a customer that wanted a certain color and equipment that none of our in stock units possessed. I did a Dealer locate for the Jeep and found only two within 1500 miles of our location and they were both at Johnny Watkins Chrysler Jeep in London, Kentucky. That was the first time I had heard the name of that dealership but I found it interesting because Johnny Watkins is also my name. I called the dealership and talked to a receptionist and she asked what she could do to help. I told her I wanted to do a Dealer Trade and I was in Florida at a Chrysler Jeep store. She asked my name and I told her Johnny Watkins. She said, that is where you have called, what is your name. I replied Johnny Watkins. I few minutes passed and Johnny Watkins answered the phone and asked if this was a joke. I said no, my name is Johnny Watkins and I am at a Chrysler Jeep dealership in Florida. We talked and turned out there was only a couple of weeks difference in our ages. He seemed like a very nice man, When I read about him dying I checked and no one had created a FG memorial for him so I did. I will always remeber that experience.

Thank you for catching my dupe. I have removed it and added my pic to the original. ;) I also completed requested edits. If I have any branches in your tree I'd be happy to transfer just let me know. Have a great day!

As you maintain this memorial I thought you might be interested in an entry about him in the Biographical Review Otsego County 1893. Let me know if you would like me to send a photo of the page to you. Best wishes!

Curious about your interest in a grave photo request for James Wilkins. Is he a relative? He would be my great uncle. His brother Jeff Bugard Wilkins is my great grandfather. I know I wish we had some more volunteers taking photos.
