Hi SJP, Thank you for imputing all the information on my GG-grandfather. I do believe you also have a Davis connection ( we should talk further and look into that) from a previous find a grave conversation. You have listed Daniel as dieing in Nebraska. I have his Civil war papers and his death certificate and it list him as dieing in Louisiana. Our family tombstone also states Louisiana. Will you correct that for his page. Thank you for all the hours you put in. I have photos of the other three sides of the Davis tombstone/monument if you want it. Isn't genealogy fascinating! Sincerely, Ruth Davis Schlabach

Would like to know why you requested a photo of Alexander Cooper? He is my g-g-g-grandpa I think.
|sherrie myers||RE: Alfred & Phoebe Wilson|
In preparation for the Find A Grave meetup I called the staff to help me find which people on my list had memorials and which people not. They told me to use the cemetery locator which would give me that information. Alfred & Phoebe are listed on their records as having no memorial but when I got there, I had found several people who's records stated they did not have a headstone but who in fact did. I went into the cemetery office to complain about the bad record keeping but they seemed indifferent. I never got a chance to look for Alfred & Phoebe's memorial so please check the photo requests to make sure the request is still active because I have found the cemetery records office is unreliable and Alfred & Phoebe may indeed have memorials.

Yes, I could not find a grave marker for him. If you look at the caption of the photo I posted I added this information along with the burial plot. I spent about 15 minutes searching the immediate area.
The only thing you could do would be to go the Ottawa Avenue Cemetery website and submit a request for information about his burial (is the location I was given correct; is there a grave marker).
If the information I was given is incorrect please let me know and I will try again for you.

One is a duplicate, entered later, by someone else. I cannot delete it. Mine was entered first and so it should stay. Thanks for the heads-up!

I am the local historian for both of the Christ Unions cemeteries, I have no info on either of these people being buried here.
I would send a public message to Tom Myers, who put up the original memorial. I have even double checked the burial plot pages, nothing on them.
Hello to you there this morning.
I see you have photo request's for Laurel Co.
I have been out in Green mount area, Do you by chance know where the Greenmount Cem is located??
C D ward is one I will be getting to at some point but I have not heard of the Carter Cem. I will try my best to get your picture's over the next 5 months or so if any way at all possible..

When I went to add the Armstrong pictures I had, I hit Marys name first. I just finished going through all of the pictures I took yesterday and there wasn't one for Mary. Please repost request. Her grave was not found. We looked at all markers. Only a couple were unreadable. We are planning on compiling a list of markers not found where they're suppose to be to check other cemeteries in the area. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I will try next week. There is a Trammell Road that connects with Sweet Gum Valley Road. I may see if I can find someone that is familiar with the logging road or cemetery. The road I turned onto was a very rough road that I could barely get up but I stopped at the first house and asked the lady if she knew of an old Trammell cemetery and she said no. I asked if there was an old logging road and she said no again. But I don't think she really understood what I was asking. I will try again and hopefully I can find it. Or I'll check again when winter comes and there isn't so much foliage.

You are very welcome. Since the cemetery is basically in walking distance for me, I will try to do some rubbings, and if I find your request I will gladly post them for you! Have a great day
