As I visit cemeteries, I try to photograph some older stones (ones that may not last another 100 years) then create memorials using the basic information from the stone with little or no additional research. If I have created a memorial for one of your family members, I will be more than happy to transfer ownership to you so you can make it the memorial your family member deserves. |
You have my permission to use my Find a Grave photos in your personal family trees. Send me a note letting me know you are using them. Also, please give me credit as the photo taker and Find a Grave credit as the source.

HI Jack -
Thank you for the work you do. I believe I've repaired/ replaced the appropriate information for Linus High Ross in White County, Indiana.
If you would like to transfer him to me, I would be grateful. Thank you.

Are you related ?
You're welcome! If they are family, or if you know more about them, feel free to ask for transfers of memorials from Linwood Cemetery, in Galesburg, IL, including Memorial # 126366167, plus more. This all started with research stemming from Memorial # 71373520 in Wisconsin.
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your photography. I have a lot of relatives buried in White Co. and I really appreciate how respectful you are by not using shaving cream or chalk on those fragile stones.
Thanks again for all you do!!

Jack, we seem to have dupes of Josie and Noble. Did you by chance have them listed in the "Old Lamb Cemetery"? When I seen that there were two cemeteries listed for the "Lamb Cemetery" at Tobinsport, I had the two cemetries merged. There is really no Old Lamb Cemetery, we from Tobinsport don't really know why or when they started calling it that. I will transfere mine of Josie (better picture of stone) if you do the same with Noble.(He is in my Family, his mother is my G Aunt.) At any rate they need to be merged or one taken down. Now there are now several dupes for the Lamb Cemetery, and most are my family. Sorry for the confusion. This is so funny! Think I started a big mess. Blessings ~ Christina

Glad you enjoyed the pix. You may use as many of my gravestone pix from find a grave as you need on your family tree.
Back in 2008, you photographed a gravestone at Miller Cemetery in Howard Co., Indiana, and added it to an existing Find A Grave entry. Don't know whether you did it as a photo request or not, but you added it: David CRIPE, died Feb. 14, 1865; aged 57 Y. & 28 D.
Someone else had plopped that listing in Clinton Co. Were it not for your photo, no one would have known.
Thank you! Your field work is much appreciated.

How have you been? How would you feel if I transfered all the internments I put on there to you? It makes sense since you live there and have more access to information about them. Only a few are related to me anyway.
Let me know what you think.

I understand about the heat, we are struggling with it also. I am a Baker Family researcher. I have been researching my Baker roots from Ohio. I believe Benjamin's wife was Sarah/Sally Baker. Thank you for all the help. I am related to Morris M Baker, who was Sarah/Sally Bakers brother.
