I welcome corrections and additional information on any memorial that I have posted. FindAGrave is a wonderful resource for loved ones and family researchers, so I want the information to be as complete and accurate as possible.

One reason I take gravestone photos, do research and compile data is to share the results with anyone who would like to use the information. Therefore, any photographs I have taken or any information that I have posted on FindAGrave may be used freely by any person for personal, family history and/or genealogy purposes. It is not necessary to ask my permission or give me credit.

Currently writing two family history books (1) "From Whence We Came: The McGirts of Robeson County NC" and (2) "The Groome Family of Groometown-Guilford County, North Carolina" (Caswell, Rockingham and Guilford counties). Please feel free to contact me if you have information on these families.

RE: Thank you
You are welcome. I see by your bio page we do think pretty much alike. And as far as inactive memorials go, if you looked at my numbers, I am a glutton for punishment. LOL
Roughly 14,000 were transferred to me through Find A Grave from about 8 states because of inactive members for one reason or another and memorials were being blocked from public edits and transfers.
Like you, I am just happy I am able to help.
Keep up your good work as well!

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know that tab existed. I'll pay attention from now on.

Just letting you know that I've added the new info that you provided. You should look at the entries and see if they're OK. (I just "copied & pasted" most of it. If you would like for me to add your name as being the contributor--just let me know.

Thank you!
I really love the new system as well but agreed it almost makes it to where you dont have to communicate with others at all. I Thank you for your kind words but you know I really enjoy working on these memorials. I appreciate you providing the info and links because its greatly improves the site for all. Hope you have a blessed day!, Brad

Martha S. Brim
Just letting you know that I've added the very interesting obituary for Martha. I've also given you credit for it, and will gladly take that off if you don't want it there.

If you are related to Martha---I'll be happy to transfer her to you also. Just let me know if you would like a transfer.

Thanks!!!

I have added your information. I have added part of his military records and the area of the cemetery he is buried in. Do you have his military records?

McBrayer or Macbrayer in Forest Lawn
Martie,

I saw his parents markers after I sent that edit. The records for them show it spelled MacBrayer...but I have no idea what is on actually on their marker. That maybe an error. You can reject that one.

Thank you for adding all the plot locations.
