|Brian J. Ensley||Barbara (Vogel) Messenger #105764614|
Lincoln & Barbara Messenger are buried in the plot of Lincoln's parents, George & Margaret (Doyle) Messenger (Central 3, Lot 188) in unmarked graves. The Messenger Family has lots 175, 176, 187 & 188 which are all connected forming a square.
I'm going to post a photo of the family plot so at least there will be something to show on the memorial and to document the site. If you wouldn't mind you may want to add a note in their bios stating that their graves are unmarked.
I sent a suggestion on Lincoln's memorial page via the edit tab to link him to his parents.
Hope this helps!
It's never a bother to transfer, just let me know if you would like any other memorials. Have a great evening.

|Bob Clarke||George K Morrison|
My Great Grandfather was George K. Morrison. I was wondering if you would transfer control of your Find a Grave Memorial # 123464346 to me so that I could add additional information or if you would mind adding the following to the memorial.
Geo. Morrison Dies After Long Illness
Death struck heavily on Prospect avenue over the week-end. Daniel Shoemaker was found dead Friday night, and George Morrison, who lives only two doors away and was a very close, intimate friend of Mr. Shoemaker, died at his home Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, following an illness that had extended over a period of four years.
The deceased had lived in DuBois for the past 42 years, and was a man well and favorably known in DuBois by a large circle of friends. For several years Mr. Morrison served on the DuBois police force, and was known for his faithful and efficient service. Later he was groundskeeper for the DuBois Country Club, a position he filled very capably. The condition of Mr. Morrison had been critical for some little time, and his death was not unexpected, but nevertheless was learned with keen regret by his many friends.
The deceased was active in the affairs of the Lakeside Methodist church, and also in fraternal circles, belonging to the P.O.S. of A. and the I.O.O.F.
Mr. Morrison was born in New Germantown, Pa., on September 22, 1873, and as stated moved to DuBois 41 years ago.
The deceased is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters: Oscar Morrison, James W. Morrison, Annie Morrison. Also the following grandchildren:Mary Lillian Boyer, Mrs. Clara Belle Kreps, Betty Morrison, Mrs Mildred Calalrese, Mrs. Helen Reighton, James Morrison, Jr., Margaret Jane Morrison. Four great grandchildren surive as do the following brothers and sisters: Ira Morrison, New Germantown; Dr. Morrison, Fort Coricle Road, Pittsburgh; Walter Morrison, New Bloomfield, Pa.; John Morrison, Manchester, and Mrs. Frank H. Johnston, New Germantown.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Short funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock by Rev. J.H. Anderson, of the Lakeside Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Morningside cemetery.
