Retired mechanical engineer with an interest in genealogy since 1976, and a home computer since 1986.|
My sister first got me interested in our family history when she copied some old photos and sent them out to the family as part of her "'76 Bicentennial celebration". Now she's a member of the D.A.R., and we're both still working on discovering more of our family history.
Beaver, Bower, Curran, Darlington, Dugger, Loy, Lupfer, McClure, Monasmith, Pflanz, Pollard and Schlott.
I'm currently working on the families of Perry County, Pennsylvania. I have registered several hundred graves there who are not related to my families, and I would be happy to transfer to a relative.
I'm also working on memorials for the alumni of Frankfurt American High School, and for the Class of 1961 of Wichita High School North. Old friends are not forgotten.

|Barry Michie||RE: Elias Hollenbaugh Obit|
Thanks for the thanks....my pleasure. The more we can get memorials developed the better. Elias's family has been difficult to trace out. I know who his mother was but not his father. His mother remarried to a Samuel Shatto that accounts for the three half siblings in the obit (another Gordian knot just recently disentangled). There are some rather interesting estate settlement documents for his mother whereby the half-siblings waive their right of inheritance in favor of Elias.
Wish I knew where his mother and her two husbands are buried.

I finally have this Smith/ Monosmith family linked together in the Kechi Cem.,Kansas. I had write to Find A Grave twice to have it completed. Vivian Smith would never respond. I don't think she is related. Thought you would like to know. Thanks for all your help in working on the Monosmiths. If there is ever anything new about Marion Smith (Monosmith's) grandfather, please let me know.

There were no other Logan's around that I could see, Spots on both sides of Charles were un-marked, there could be someone related there. I looked on Ancestry.com and it shows he was married at least 3 times, the last listed being Hazel who died in another state.

That should be in order now...their editing system is a little weak...had to delete all and re-do...plus when you load a photo you have 3 choices for what type photo it is and that seems to play a part in what order they place them...confusing, but should be OK...let me know...

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to thank you for all the info for Mable's memorial. I appreciate all your time and effort.

I try to take photos at different cemeteries of the memorials that have no photo attached. I see her parents are there also, I will try to get back there soon and take them also.
