I am Mary Lou Florrow Tiffany. I was born in Freeport, Brazoria Co., TX, the eldest daughter of Joseph Milton Florrow and Dorothy Earline Harris. My family moved to Norwalk, L.A. Co., CA when I was 16. There I met and married James Albert Tiffany. He was a glazier for many years, but in 1976 became a beekeeper, which is the profession he retired from. We moved to Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA the next year. We raised a son and daughter in Bakersfield, and now have two grandsons and three granddaughters. I worked in various accounting offices of the Kern Co. Dept. of Human Services for 27 years, retiring in July of 2006. I've worked off and on on our family genealogy for the last 30 years.|

We were so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. We lost both my parents in the past three years (Opal at 94 and Sherman at 97). They spoke of you often and were sorry to have lost touch with you.
We had a good meeting in Kurten and met many of the Harris family we had not known before. Perhaps we will see you there next year. There was discussion of moving the site from Kurten to Madisonville.
I gave Donna a picture from my Grandma Baker of your grandparents and Dorothy when she was a baby. If you would like a copy, she will have it on her computer.

Are you the person who found Pete Harris' burial site in Madison County several years ago? If so, my mother, Opal Hightower, lost touch with you and wanted to contact you again. I found your name while searching for info on John Benjamin Harris, as I plan to attend the Harris family reunion tomorrow.

I am always happy to transfer memorials to family. I have made the transfer for Oliver and Faye Florrow's memorials to you.
Hope you have a blessed week. Grave_Walker
I searched the Evergreen (Lindina) Cemetery in Juneau Cty WI and found no grave sites for Sophia or Henry nor any other Tiffany's. There could be sites there with any/all markings too deteriorated to read.

I'm searching for a grave or two at Mt Pleasant, Isabella County,MI. I see you have created some grave sites there. First - - do you live there?? Are you familiar with the local cemeteries? Where would you suggest I start to look???
I'm searching for the grave of John C Barnum, 1888-1918.
Thanks for any help you can provide, anxious for your reply.

I am still looking for Henry & Sophia Tiffany in Mauston, Juneau Co., WI. But while looking in another cemetery for a different name I came across a few stones with the Tiffany name. I took pictures and have made memorials, if you would like I am more than willing to transfer them to you. These Tiffanys are located in Lake Delton Cem., Lake Delton, Sauk Co., WI. Mauston and Lake Delton are only about 15-20 mi apart.

Thank you for the very nice photo of the entry to Divide Cemetery. It is so nice to be able to see these places that I am unlikely to visit. ~Nancy

Your Very Welcome, If you want to make memorials for Davids parents Edward 1700 - 29 Jul 1770 Ashford, Windham, Conn. and Tabitha Humphrey 16 Jun 1704 - 29 Jun 1770 Ashford, Windham, Conn. Along with Davids sister Hannah born 28 Mar 1727, I'll add in there gravestone pictures. But the stones are in very bad shape. I was barely able to piece a few letters on them to Davids family. All 4 stones are together in the Old Ashford Cemetery. If you have "Ancestry" I can share trees with you as I have quite a few Tiffany's in mine. Thanks, Brian
You are very welcome.
I am sorry I did not find William Jones.
I did find a Hua A. Bachelder 1873 - 1910. Could this be your H. Batchelder?

What amazes me about findagrave is that after five years, somebody else enters the same person, but adds an obit. Instead of asking the original to add the obit they now want them to delete their entry. Along with your request, I have just been asked to transfer 90 people which I entered in one cemetery because they are relatives. They had been entered for over five years and some of them had died back in the 20's. I have just about decided that I can find another hobby. I notice that they now have added the parents tie in on the site. I can just see all the requests coming in to tie the person to the parents. Currently, I am now spending more time, adding information, deleting entries, transferring people then I am on entering people in the system.
