Bio Photo What started as a passion for finding my own ancestors has turned into a great joy in helping others find theirs.

My pictures are not works of art, therefore please take what pictures you need. I'm happy to share!

Also, if you attach a photo to a memorial that I've created, PLEASE make sure you have NOT used CHALK! Otherwise, I will delete it.

RE: Householder
Julie..I like to "troll" the cemeteries I've done major documenting on and keep an eye out. There are several COR's in the Clymer area and I have problems with TWO St. Michaels in the area also ;-)

RE: About Josephine....
Julie, to be honest, you'd have to talk to family. I have found people in other states - they could not afford to bring the body home, another one ended up being buried near other family, and yet another one died in a nursing home and had no will to state where to bury them - so they are in a mass plot for the nursing home. I honestly don't know on this one. ........Jan

Mrs. Maloy
Hello. I'm doing family research of my family, CREHAN. I wonder if this grave, Mrs. Maloy, could be my great aunt, Kate Magdalene Crehan, born in Pittsburgh 1857 and married Vincent Maloy in January 1883. It seems as though all the dates match and the obituary information matches the place of burial.

Dorsey W Kramer
I photographed both cemeteries and posted any that were not already on the site. Dorsey does not appear on the PA WPA transcription project in either cemetery list. I will continue to research, but I don't know why there is an identical memorial at two cemeteries? I posted the one at Bakersville along with his Daughter Virginia is also at Bakersville according to my posts of photos.

I wonder if you would consider transferring Harry Albert # 128364342 and his wife Mary # 128364330 to me. Thank you! Barbara 47317954

Hello, glad to meet you. Yep, looks like someone has created a couple problems for me. 8 years ago someone made memorials at the wrong cemetery and placed photographs of the Mound View stones on it. 4 years ago I made new memorials because I didn't see them listed at Mound View. Now I'm not sure what to do. Looks like a little mess and no easy way to fix it unless she deletes hers. She can move them to the correct cemetery and I delete mine but that would be sad because all the work and quality that went into them. They're all linked already, etc. What to do ???? Thanks for the heads-up !

New Germany Cemetery
The name New Germany Methodist Cemetery has been used by the families of the New Germany section of Garrett County, Md. for over 150 years. I started using it on Find A Grave. in Jan 2013. In Aug 2013 someone put over 200 names of people in the cemetery of on Find A Grave. and called the cemetery Mt Beulah.
Researching the local newspapers I have found over 70 obituaries that state Interment was or will be in the New Germany Methodist cemetery.
There is a church building on the property named Mt. Beulah that was built in 1882 and was sold to a private individual in 1976. In 2007 a groups formed to restore the church building. I think someone may have decided at that time to try to change the name of the cemetery to match the church name.
Thank you for trying to keep the information on Find A Grave. as accurate as possible.
