What started as a passion for finding my own ancestors has turned into a great joy in helping others find theirs. |
My pictures are not works of art, therefore please take what pictures you need. I'm happy to share!
Also, if you attach a photo to a memorial that I've created, PLEASE make sure you have NOT used CHALK! Otherwise, I will delete it.

Thank you for catching the duplicate and for the wonderful compliment. I have deleted my posting and added my picture to your posting as requested. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks!

Thanks for adding them. The more information out there, the better for everyone.

Hi I am searching for McDonnell's in the Blairsville area. Patrick referenced as the father in this memorial may be my 2nd great uncle. Do you have further information about the subject? Or possibly can put me in touch with someone who does?
My name is Mike Mertle and my email is mm103a@ gmail.com. I have a Blairsville related death certificate for Patrick J McDonnell that confirms him as my 2nd G Uncle. Don't have a wife's name, My Patrick's Parents are James McDonnell and Mary Leonard. My 2G grandparents. They I believe, also died either in Blairsville or in Cokeville.
They were in England in 1880, 1890 census is not available and can't find them in 1900 so far.

|B Dearborn||Eve Frank Frak|
I'm curious about the photo you have posted to Find A Grave Memorial# 94358946 for Eve Frank Frank. It's a good photo, though I can't make out all the information on it. It does look like she died in 1833 but does it have her as wife of John Stephen Frank?
Also, her memorial is linked with his and when I went to his there is a pair of stones with rounded tops showing.... both unreadable except part of the name, but it looks like they are both John. That memorial has her husband's date of death exactly the same as hers which seems odd.
Anyway, any light you can shed on this couple would be appreciated.

|Kimberly ||RE: Old and hard to read stones|
Thank you!!! Best idea I've heard and I'm anxious to try it out. I'm drawn to the older stones thinking it's better to have an "unreadable" stone photo than no stone at all. At least its preserved as-is forever. Always hoping a family member can fill in the blanks as I never guess (hence the "unknown"). Hopefully, with flashlight in hand, I will fill in some of those blanks myself. Thank you again for sharing this with me. Kimberly

|Lori Sutton||White Family|
I have been informed that the White family has a reunion each year? Does anyone have information on this White Family Reunion.
|Nicolene Cravotta||re: Henry Michael Palmer|
HM is my 4xggrndfather. His ancestry , confusion aside, shows he was born in PA; it was his father & uncles who immigrated here from the Palatine. His ancestor, Johannes Balmer, changed his name to "John Palmer" when he took the oath of allegiance. Thus, there are family members who still bear the Balmer surname and the others who became "Palmer".
BTW, The Patch Cemetery is now practically unnavigateable and difficult to see the remaining tombstones.
Hi, Is this John Shutt (Find A Grave Memorial# 37696653) the same as the John Shutt I listed in Youngsville Cemetery Find A Grave Memorial# 146538887? I see you added a little bio for him. I don't remember where I got the info for the one I added in 2015. Thanks

You are very welcome. It is gratifying to know that someone out there benefits from my pictures. I, too, have uploaded new names to a cemetery only to find out that some of them are already listed under a slightly different name and have then removed my entries.
I will post the picture when I return home, but that won't be until the end of March. What cemetery is this for as I get around to different cemeteries in different states?
Thanks for the tip on the LED light. It's a shame that a lot of cemetery info is lost due to the age and composition of the stones.
This is your family. Mary Ann Henry was born Dec. 4, 1816 in Unity Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. She died Aug. 23, 1865.She is buried at St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe, PA. Her parents are John and Mary Zinsdorf Henry.

Hope this helps!!
