Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi!

A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!

If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!!!!!!!

From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial

Susan A. (Susie) Ogilvie
Susan's marriage license to Walter Henry, states her parents are James Ogilvie & Rachel Norris.
Who do you think her parents are? I also think she was listed with her parents in a census, will have to recheck that. Like you, I want to be accurate in what I post. Hope we can find out for sure. His parents were right on the license.

Minnie picket. Crown Point cemetery Indiana
I got to plot 11 and 2 stones down from that there are two stones unreadable however you go two more down and there is a family of puckits and there is a Charles picket in middle so I'm confused on which picture I should have the picture with the no stones you can't read or this picture and label it under marked

RE: Ray Coots
I never met my Uncle Ray either. Actually, I only ever knew my grandfather Bige. Everybody called him Bige. I heard very little about his family through my father. Dad didn't actually seem to know much about them either. I'd love to get in contact with some of them and get to know that part of my family. It seems that the Coots' died along with him.
I'd appreciate any help at all from you. As a matter of fact I welcome it!

Maudy Lindsey
Hi. I recently put in a lot of requests for edits on a lot of Lindsey memorials for my genealogist cousin J Richard Gosnell. He has been researching his family for about 50 years, and Maudie is his grandmother's older sister. He lived with his grandmother until she was put in a nursing home, he grew up with her, he knows the family intimately.

He told me that Maudy's name was not spelled with a Y, it was spelled Maudie. He is the one who had the photo I added to her memorial. He also has a photo of her in her coffin, she died after accidentally swallowing some "pins" they used in the textile mill. I believe him when he says her name was misspelled on her monument.

Please change the spelling of her name on this memorial, or at the very least put a note on the page that says her immediate family says her monument was misspelled.

Thank you.

RE: Blackburn/Kimmer family
Thank you, it is so very sad to see an entire family wiped out like that. I'm assuming an auto or boating accident or a house fire. I couldn't find anything online either. I didn't know the family but I like to see what happened when it's obvious it was a terrible tragedy. Thank you for your response. Yes, they were beautiful. Now beautiful angels.
