Born and raised in Texas. A 6th generation Austinite on my mom side of the family and a 9th generation Texan on my dad side of the Family. I've been working on my family tree for the last 9 years. My aunt Joan had been working on it for quit a while until she passed away in 1989. She had a lot of information, nothing stored on a computer. I started working on in 2004.|
Family names I'm mostly interested:
PETRI- Germany to TX
THOMPSON - NC to AR to TX
WILLIAMS - Alabama to LA to TX
TAYLOR - NC to TX
HOLLAND - NC to TX
WOOD - VA to GA to AL to TX
DEASON - SC to AL to TX
BLAIR - VA and TN to TX
GILLENTINE - England to VA to TN to TX

|Becky Ramsey||Findagrave Photos|
Alyssa, thank you for all your contributions to the Findagrave website. I would like permission to use your photographs of my relatives' gravesites in my Family Tree files. I use the photos as source media and will gladly give you credit for your work. Becky
|Mary Wallace||Louisa Glover Wood|
I'll go to the Manor Cemetery next weekend if you're still interested in a photo of the gravestone. Mary
|Melissa (Brown) Joyce||Bernice Lawyer Rogers|
I made the suggested corrections to her page. Interesting how her middle name is Flora but her headstone reads Bernice O. Rogers. Let me know if you are related and I can transfer management.

Thank you for the information. I have made the update.
|TLH||Ida Acklin photo request|
I would be happy to fill your photo request, however, can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial locations for your requests: 214-381-7118
There are over 307 photo requests and the volunteers can not ask for that many locations.
Your request will get filled with the location information. The cemetery does not like to cooperate with findagrave volunteers.

I received a request to take a photo of the grave of James Madison Ennis in the Pond Springs Cemetery in Williamson Co., TX....I tried looking for the headstone but this is a very old, sadly a bit unkept cemetery and I was unable to find a marker of any type. I know from time to time a local boy scout troop goes to that cemetery to clean up and mow...I'll keep checking and may have better luck once the grass is mowed.

Could you please send the link request again. I have been very ill, but I will try to get to it so you can add the changes you want yourself.

50/50 chance it's him. Really tough call though; Thompson is a common name. There is no photo on Find-A-grave, so I assume it's a fieldstone with no name or dates? If that's the case, then the fact that this person is a Thompson is from the memory of the old timers of the day. I wouldn't "Call" it at this time, but I wouldn't rule it out either.
I did a little research, and came across a John Thompson that is buried in Tutt Hill: http://www.arkansasgravestones.org/view.php?id=552687
If this John is related to Thomas, you might be on to something.
Good to hear from you.
