You posted a photo of Henry Elisha Stewart. Was wondering if you have any other Stewart Family Photos? I am trying to gather photos of all my Stewart Family. I love to share.

|PK||RE: Ila Everett|
Ila (Burnett) Everett was the sister of my ex-father-in-law Howard Alvis Burnett. Her father was Andrew Jackson Burnett. Her husband was RC Everett. She had another brother Willie Joe Burnett. See 1920 Census for Howard or Andrew J Burnett. Ila is also listed as informant on Howard's death certificate. I visited Aunt Ila and Andrew many times during my marriage to Garry Burnett.

Hi Frank...I don't know either. I have a letter from a cousin who mentions this uncle and that he married "Sallie Smith". The census records all corroborate the 1851 birth year. He was called "Uncle Jeff" and is buried in the same cemetery with his elder brother, John Lee Turner. The reference to enlisting in VA makes no sense as he was born in MS and the family moved to Robertson County, Texas about 1867 or so. They lived in Jasper Co., MS during the 1860s and most of his brothers enlisted in the CS army. Two were killed.
