Your welcome. As far as I know I am not related to any Johnsons, but you never know what you might find as you are researching! I have been going to different cemeteries trying to get marker photos of my family members and my husbands family members and realized that there were many other find a grave memorials that did not have pictures on them. I figured that since I was already at these cemeteries I would go ahead and try to take pictures of all the markers and add them to those with out photos in hopes of helping others.

Thank you so much!

I think that my 3rd g-grandfather, Robert Beverly Duke # 70943549, is buried next to or near his parents in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Rose Creek, McNairy County, Tennessee. His parents were Thomas D. Duke # 68920354 and Jane Elvira Duke # 68920290. Would it be possible for you to take a picture of his headstone that includes their headstones in the same photo? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much.

Looking forward to hearing from you. :)

Olive, thank you so much for the grave photos for M J Findley and George W Moore in Mount Zion Cemetery. George was my g.g.grandfather so I was especially pleased to see his tombstone.
His wife Catherine, Katherine or Kitsey Moore is buried in the same cemetery. But she died about 20 years before George - so I'm wondering if that small stone next to George might be for Katherine. I submitted a photo request for her in Nov 2013 but it has never been fulfilled... maybe it couldn't be read. Did you happen to notice if there was any writing on it but maybe just not legible? If so, do you think pressing aluminum fold lightly on it would help to read it?
I'm wondering if we are related. Abraham Randolph 1762 Caswell, North Carolina, United States is my 4th Great Grandfather.
|Peggy Smith Wolfe||Mystery|
I have been researching letters written by Mildred Case of Adamsville TN to my mother, Tiana Godwin. In a letter dated May 16, 1933,Mildred says, "Saturday we all went to the graveyard decoration at Mt. Vinson. Clyde Massengill’s family was there. It was their little boy buried the last Sunday of last May you know – Ernie’s little brother. They moved above Henderson last year." I cannot find a find-a-Grave memorial to this little boy; I don't know his name or how he died. But there is a story with the memorial for
Francis Marion Massengill, II, at the Leapwood Cemetery nearby that has me puzzled since there are two memorials with the same dates. Can you shed any light on this mystery?

Sorry I couldn't find it, but I do go to that cemetery a lot, and I always keep those I couldn't find in the back of my mind...just in case! :) So, If I should come across it, I will definitely let you know!
