Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my family tree off and on since I was 12 years old (so over 42 years). I feel it is often like a treasure hunt. I enjoy researching for others and enjoy seeing how much information I am able to gather for them.

My love for genealogy came from my father, Rev. Geo. K. Swartzfager. He was a minister and was able to learn and remember family members of most of his parishioners. I seem to have this same ability often to the annoyance of my own family. They often seem to feel this is a curse but I feel it is a blessing that I have gladly inherited.

As I said, I am willing to do research for others. I have several books to assist in this research: Cemeteries of Crawford County, Ohio, Volumes 1, 2A and 3; Marriages of Crawford County, Ohio 1831-1997; History of Crawford County, Ohio; Index of Applications of The Pioneer Families of Crawford County, Ohio; and Families of Crawford County, Ohio 1977-1978.

Please do not make duplicates of people I have added to Find A Grave. I am willing to make transfers whenever the person is not related to my family. I will try to respond/transfer as soon as possible. I enjoy working on Find A Grave and visit cemeteries to take pictures as often as possible. While in a cemetery in Pennsylvania, I met a cousin (living of course). You never know what you may find. A friend says she can't go by a cemetery without thinking of me. My daughter just thinks its creepy. Hopefully someday my children will inherit some of my genealogy insanity.

Thank you very much for the photos and doing the edits for them! There may be more as I progress through the family. I have used Find A Grave so much I feel an obligation to help get as much info included as possible that I have researched. If I can help others trace an easier path it benefits all.

Brokensword Cemetery
Dear Ms. Scott
I need your advice. One of my relatives has no headstone, and he is buried in Brokensword Cemetery . He is my half brother. His mother is still alive, yet, her whereabouts are unknown. Do I have any legal rights to place a marker on Scott's grave ? Plus, I have another relative's headstone in a different cemetery that needs to be repaired or replaced. He is my 4th Great Grandfather. .

Thank you
God Bless

Mollenkopf family
I am researching the Mollenkopfs in Crawford county as part of my grandmother's ancestors. There are no pictures from Martin Luther Cemetery. If you are near would you consider taking the photos?
From the grave plots and what I've gotten from Censuses I can tell certain links and other info that I will add.
Any information you have from your Crawford books would be great as all we have now is census & Find A Grave birth & death dates.

Thanks so much for all you do, Deby

RE: Inez Pearl
Thank you I went to the delete and it said I could not remove it because I did not create it, but I hit the delete anyway and it asked why and I said duplicate memorial and gave the number of your memorial. I guess we will have to see what happens. Thank you.
