Bio Photo Well, it all started with a tour of Hollywood in a hearse! After visiting numerous celebrity-related sites, the driver gave out maps of two Hollywood cemeteries and I was hooked! In addition to visiting celebrity graves, my real interest lies with British royalty, both dead and alive. I have photographed many members of the current royal family as well as many royal gravesites. My most unusual grave photos are the headstones of Queen Elizabeth's dogs. Find A Grave has provided me with an excellent opportunity to share my photos with others via the internet. I have met countless people as a result, and look forward to meeting many more!

RE: Brokmeyer/Brockmeyer in Bellefontaine
Hi Connie,

Yes please do send lot diagrams and the lists of names. I did find that there were many variations of the last name...and the families probably did change them so that maybe they would be easier for someone to spell. Highly possible.

Thank you for asking and offering to get that info for me.

Thank you for your time and effort to locate the lost grave sites of my 3 X great grandfather Richard West and his Sister Lucy Masomsin or Malcomson West. The copy of Richards 1883 Death Certificate was an added bonus of immeasurable importance too, it sealed the deal. My hope is that a copy of his sister Lucinda "Lucy" Masomsin West's is on file at the cemetery also as she preceded Richard in 1852 and is not listed in the online information at Bellefountain's site as being buried along with Richard at that site.

Your help has all but solved a all too long misconception about this ancestor due and the myth surrounding him in family lore due to his Native American bloodline. I cannot tell you how happy your assistance has made me and my fellow family researchers this day. May God bless you Connie.

My, 'OUR' best to you.

Thank you Thank you!
Just wanted to say thanks for the photos you were able to get for me at Bellefontaine. I'm especially excited of the McKeighan photos. Ida is the Great Grandma of a friend of mine. I am doing some family tree searching for her. She has never been to these graves. Someone told her that Bellefontaine is in an "unsafe" part of the city. Do you agree with this? Do you feel uncomfortable or nervous going here? Thanks again!

Hi Connie,
Thanks for checking this out and providing a photo. I did not know there was no headstone, so it is great that you did this anyway.

Does this cemetery have additional details for graves going back to the 1870's?

Lillian Lemp
Connie, I have been granted the right to add a lovely picture of Lillian Lemp to findagrave, by her great great grandson. The site wont allow me to do it, because of the number of photographs there. Could you delete the one of the front of the Bellefontaine Cemetery,so that I can add this portrait?

RE: Lot 1234 Brokmeyer
Thank you are probably correct when you say that they probably changed the spelling of their last name. I know that the spelling of my maiden name was changed shortly after my ancestors arrived here from Germany.
