|One Final Gift|
Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by....
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times....
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see....
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me.
by D. J. Kramer
Find A Grave volunteers have connected me
to family, and I count it a privilege
to help others connect with family or friends.
It saddens me when a there is no headstone
or it's broken and illegible. I guess that's why
I like the poem....everyone needs to be remembered.

Thanks Linda: Do you know how it is that Rhoda Balcomb Boughton and her husband were buried in Carlisle Cemetery - but their graves are in South Murray Ridge Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio?

Thanks for the picture of Bannie Masters's memorial. It is much appreciated!

I just read what you sent to me. Thank you so much for contacting me. When I first started my family tree, Sarah Ellen "Sadie" (Churchill) (Benton) ST. JOHN (1846-1906), one of my 3rd great grandmothers, was the first mystery I encountered. Trying to imagine how she lived includes: two Civil War veteran husbands, twelve children, and living or giving birth in seven different states throughout her life -- now eight with Frederick being born in Virginia. Wild stuff.

Hello! Thank you for your efforts at Find A Grave. I'm writing to ask for your permission to use your headstone photos of my family members with my public family tree at Ancestry.com. You and Find A Grave would be credited.
The one I'm looking at is for William Farr (No. 66907236), but there might be others.
Please reference William Farr when responding.

You left a message & virtual flower at the Find A Grave Memorial# 35535248 of Anna Wilson Botamer.
Are you a descendant of Anna Wilson Botamer?
Do you know family history of the Wilson or Botamer families?

I'm not sure of this particular burial ground . Many graveyards in the city, especially near what is now Washington park at Cincinnati music hall were moved to spring grove to make way for expansion. This may gave been one of them.
Thank you kindly!!!

You're very welcome.
|Corine Hardman||Gretta Hardman|
You had taken a photo of a headstone for Thomas Hardman #90458610. It also has his wife Gretta #90568415 on it, can you put it on her memorial for now. She passed away on Thursday. I will put in a photo request so you get the credit.
